Balcony and lower windows so when you sit on the couch you can see out the window at the sights and lights of the city. Would love to have open windows in bedroom that did not open into the hallway.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was nice, a little bit dated but very comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and really appreciated the complimentary water and chips. Not having to pay for parking was a big bonus,

Parking is open and not as safe as I would like. I wanted to book an extra night and the rate increased greatly, so I did not book.

The room is comfortable and suits my needs, but getting a little dated. I have stayed here before and it is fine.

Great place, friendly staff, great bars and restaurants. Great activities like the shuffle board and electronic darts. Good roces food and drinks and even with the renovations happening was not loud and was very tidy

Parking is sparse but there is the shopping centre car park next door with 3 hour restrictions, fells a little insecure for a good car but not a big issue.

It’s part of a hotel with all the facilities you’d expect. Meals were pricey but excellent. Staff were all friendly.

The air conditioning unit in the executive suite onto my personal belongings, and damaged some valuable items. The drip was quite excessive. Also, there is not adequate drainage in the shower nor is there a shower curtain so the bathroom tends to flood

Lighting in room is fairly poor as there are no ceiling lights. Minor complaint but frustrating that the only main light source is from the window and when you're the bottom floor it doesn't provide much privacy.

On arrival the check in was quick and I was told that I got an upgrade for using booking.com to make the reservation to a room with a spa. The room was on the first floor, it was big, with a big comfortable bed, lots of wooden furniture and a bit outdated but still functional, plenty of cabinets for clothes, tv on the wall with YouTube and Netflix, the little fridge with complimentary water and coffee, chips and Tim Tams, the water pressure in the shower was great and the spa was fantastic!! I used it twice! There’s a small shopping centre just a few meters in the same complex and the car park is big enough but not just in front of the hotel lobby. There are pokies, restaurant and on the weekends they have live music. I couldn’t hear noise from the main road just in front of my room or even from the bar but unfortunately the noise came from the ceiling and room on the top of mine. The hotel is not far from downtown but too long if you walk to it. It was a very good value for money.

They seem to be doing a huge upgrade out the front of the building so visually it didn’t look appealing from the outside.

It’s an older building but it’s kept exceptionally clean. The rooms were big, the front desk staff were beyond amazing and the room service was brilliant. There is a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel as well as two local shopping centres around 100 metres away. It isn’t in the city but it’s easy to use public transport to get around.

Shower and water force a bit weak but it was fixed fairly quickly We have stayed in the past between 2010-23 and price wise probably increased a little too much looking at our visit last month

The dining area does not cater for people with disabilities or the elderly. Replacing the one part of the dining area with stools and high tables is not helpful. This use to be an amazing area where you could sit, relax and watch the world go by gazing through the windows. When ordering breakfast there was NO choice given we had to sit on the stools as we were told the tables and chairs area wasn’t open. We chose to get Uber delivery after all the problems of trying to find seating that our health needs required. I’m unsure if we would stay at a venue that doesn’t cater for all not just the young and agile people. We had conversations with other people our age who were also taken a back by the lack of choices available for the elderly and disabled. Given I had been to the RAH with serious health issues it would have been nice to just sit a table with seating. It’s really amazing in this day and age that this was an oversight given the monies spent to renovate. We were also surprised by the lack of choice on the menu where I found it hard to find vegetables. After evacuating for a fire alarm it was a bit concerning that nobody checked a list of guests off to see if all were accounted for. I sit on the OHSW committee in my workplace and just wondered if this is supposed to have been done.

Clean and people were very friendly. Rooms were great and beds very comfortable. Lovely atmosphere.
