A smart tv would be good so we could access a variety of shows. I’m not sure the spa in the bedroom is very useful. An outdoor spa would be better utilised by a group but the upkeep may be an issue.

This little house was perfect. Well stocked with plates, cutlery and other cooking utensils. The fires both indoor and outdoor were fantastic and warmed us beautifully. Beautiful river views also.

A group of six of us, including my husband, my elderly mother, grandmother, and two young daughters, stayed at Arthur River for one night. The house was large and comfortable. It was a great place to explore the West Coast. We drove to the Edge of the World is only a five-minute drive away, and seeing the vast sea is very shocking.

Great location. Simple, not fancy, practical but verything u need is there in the house. Really well stocked with all your kitchen needs and every possible issue was accounted for right down to a wind shield around the bbq. Lots of heating options and wood for the fireplace

Some areas of the kitchen were not very clean, eg the outside of the kettle was quite greasy and looked dirty as did some of the cooking equipment, and the pantry cupboards and around the cooking area. However, overall, we thought the property offered fantastic value for money, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic location , very comfortable, everything you needed for a comfortable stay was supplied, and the views were beautiful. The bathroom was nice and clean and the spa bath was lovely. We liked the easy check in and great communication from the property owners.

Amazing view of Arthur River and the ocean, we loved sitting on the deck looking out at sunset. The biggest bed we’ve ever slept in & a lovely big bathroom. Fantastic spot on our West Coast road trip, thank you!

This fantastic place felt like home away from home! So comfortable with absolutely everything we needed at our fingertips! Loved the fireplace outside with the incredible view!! It was great to have a laundry to catch up on washing! Beautiful location and place to stay when exploring the area.

A little hiccup due to some miscommunication but all sorted out fairly quickly.

The cottage had everything either a couple or family could want it’s close proximity to the river made our stay as the day was wildly windy and we experienced the real west coast while enjoying the large fireplace and all the comforts of home.

This house was perfect for our trip to the West Coast. The location is amazing and the house had absolutely everything we needed. Loved the outdoor fireplace and entertaining area. If you’re looking for 5 star luxury stick to the east coast - if you’re after an adventure then this house and it’s location is the perfect place to start!

Self catered for breakfast. Location is spectacular with superb views of the river and ocean. Kitchen provisions and personal requirements were generously provided. It felt like someone’s home, not a holiday rental property.

There are messages everywhere around the house about conserving water as the property is reliant on rain tanks. It would be good for some kind of separate sign/indication about whether it’s okay to use the spa bath without feeling guilty!

We loved our stay at Arthur River - it was great holiday-style house with an incredible view. It had all the facilities that we needed and the owners had thought of everything. Unfortunately there was a storm that caused a town-wide black out during our stay that impacted our morning before checking out. However, we received clear instructions from the owners about how to navigate obstacles so we could still make the most of our morning and prepare for our road trip exploring the Tarkine.
