How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The cabin smelt funny, and did not feel overly clean. I also felt that the cabin could use modernising, including updating of the furniture.
The cabin was suitable for 4 people in terms of size and had its own cooking facilities. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful.

Lady checking us in was grumpy and not welcoming at all, we felt like we were putting her out. But the other staff for were lovely especialy the cleaners.
Room was clean, bed comfy just kitchen equipment was limited.

The door knobs are incredibly flimsy so you can jingle around for long enough with the door locked, it will slowly flip the lock to unlock the door. The bed wasn’t the best.
I liked that visitors can park their cars right outside of their cabin so it’s close and convenient. it’s very family friendly and it has its own pool that’s much more relaxing than most, especially for families.

I thought the office hours were poor for peak season/school holidays not opening till 1000 and not being able to use the pool till 1000 and closed at 5 for young kids on holidays. We had a problem with our linen and couldn’t have anything done about it because the cleaners had been before the office opened at 10. Our power tripped out in the morning using toaster and kettle and I had to search for the RCD switch myself as the office didn’t open till 10. The beds were old and uncomfortable sagging underneath.
the cabin was suitable, limited supplies of things like toilet paper for 4 people for 5 nights. the pool was nice but dirty.

Air conditioning in the second room not works, so not that comfortable for kids in the room with 6month old baby, one slept on the lounge. no discount was given another key to view unit 212 but could not see a unit with that number of the map, walked around the park check the site map Door handle to toilet had to be replaced. Not enough supplies for a family to stay in a unit

Perhaps some complimentary bug spray due to the mosquitoes would of made us more happy

The air con was blowing hot air - needed to call to have it fixed, and then it was blowing hot air again the next day. The couch was very old and broken Very expensive for accommodation that is very basic and old - needs a complete makeover

Did not know food facilities were available. Ran out of tea and coffee in the room after 2 nights. Beds too short for adults. No carpets on floors not great. Mainly put off by impersonal text about pool usage. Please treat guests like guests, not workers, come and talk to us with a friendly face. It would have been nice to have seen a little hospitality and friendliness on our first trip to the area.
Poool was beautiful sparkling clean, shaded. Location easy to find Easy check in

the windows to the outside had he locks damaged and couldn’t be locked. this was concerning for security as we couldn’t secure the room when we went out. also the internet/ wifi is so poor it was unusable.
the property was larger than expected with everything you would need for a great stay. the rooms were clean and the location and access were really good.

We didn't see any staff during our stay. We arrived at 3pm and left at 7am. The room smelt funny.

Bunk beds were quite loose for our son to sleep on. Was a superior cabin with 2 bedrooms. Wouldn’t rate it superior. Not a lot of grass for your animals to enjoy. The couches needed to be replaced. Enough ammenities inside for our 4 night stay. Cold aircon which is great.

very dated. massive crack in shower tray, unclean with lots of random items under the bed. don’t believe that the room has had a proper inspection for a long time. tap leaked, door handle broken, screen door broken, needs a lot of TLC.
