The only thing to be improved would be the bed - fairly soft for our taste. But won't stop us from coming back.

The ambiance, attention to detail, furnishings, welcome feeling, great communication, breakfast was delicious, easy parking, perfect location, clean, lots of communal areas to sit and relax. Definitely coming back.

    Nothing really

A very nice old style room. We had the queen room with a big bath and balcony for a romantic getaway. Excellent breakfast and great host. Highly recommend. Close to main street for eating out.

I thought the room would be a fair bit bigger, especially based on the images. Found that room very cosy, especially for the price we paid. I understand it’s school holidays but it really was a lot of money for a pretty small room. Was also disappointed I couldn’t use the spa bath in the bathroom. That to me was one of the reasons I booked that room specifically, I wanted to have a spa, turn on the jets, not just a bath… I can do that at home… I was wanting something special. Then to see a note in the bathroom asking me not to turn on the jets was disappointing.

Loved the breakfast! Compliments to the chef!! Delicious 🤤🤤😋😋 Loved the option of the dining room so the room didn’t smell like pizza or burgers or fish and chips!! Loved the option of homemade extras if I didn’t get my room serviced for the couple of nights! Great for the environment and lovely touch! The location was brilliant, the privacy was perfect, the private verandah was so special. Absolutely loved it!!

The bed was uncomfortable. Woke a few times with an aching back and had to keep changing positions. That is the only negative I can think of. Don't expect luxurious modern. The building has some history to it. The charm and authenticity is what is attractive about the place.

Location perfect, clean and well set out room, efficient heating and general very comfortable. We were upgraded to the balcony room which was nice and this additional feature was a bonus, although a little cool for sitting out. Clear concise instructions on accessing the room, easy parking and proximity to all attractions is as good as it gets.

nothing really to fault, but the bathroom would have been better with a shower only instead of a huge bath. The bath makes the room quite small.
