How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Its great to enter your own quiet comfortable room with views around the city. Its central location is great for access to restaurants, supermarkets, transport, sightseeing or work. The staff are always friendly and helpful with 24 hour reception. Options for breakfast are available in-house. Great value for money.

Slightly challenging to use adjust the heater during our visit in May 2024. Hair dryer was not the most powerful so took a while to dry my long hair.
Large room. Super convenient location as within free tram zone, stone throw away from Coles and Southern Cross station.

Only issue is that there are no hand rails around the shower.
Not far from the station and Skybus, close to trams. Efficient and friendly staff. Room clean. Good value breakfast

The keycard de-magnatised twice in my stay which was a little frustrating
It's really close to Southern Cross station so very accessible from the skybus and easy to get to trains and trams. Close to Marvel stadium too Loads of good asian restaurants around

Location is great, central, close to public transportation, restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel allows storage. Breakfast simple but sufficient and nice. Skybus from airport to hotel convenient, close by.

Not much not to like...
Atlantis is great for easy access to the Sky Bus at Southern Cross. It's conveniently close to the station and its not far to walk.

Extra blankets need to be put in cupboard, especially as our bed was short sheeted. We had to put air con up to 25° to be comfortable in bed.
Breakfast was good considering it was included in our tariff.

The family room was just 2 bedrooms and a bathroom... no lounge or common area to sit. Our smoke alarm went off and there was little communication, we weren't sure what was going on ...luckily a false alarm

No decent hanging rails for towels., only hooks...towels just do not dry well for reuse.
Always excellent as expected. Were allocated a large room facing Spencer Street. The room had new carpet, was larger than usual. After a long international flight the beds/linen were perfect for instant slumber. Love those small stainless steel electrical kettles the hotel has provided for years for coffee/tea making. Many overseas hotels still persist with plastic kettles. The location so close to Spencer Street Station is a plus after a long flight.

There was no outside window (the window looked inside the building) which was not included in room description so made the room very dark. Our room was right next to the lift which was a little noisy. Overall the room could've done with some touch ups such as a new carpet to ensure the room looks clean. Still excellent value for money however.
The room was good value for money, very comfy and had all expected amenities. There was a good continental breakfast selection including some warm options. The location is excellent being opposite southern cross station so easy to get to and near transport for in and around the city.

I cant think of anything, a bit cold 5555
Location is perfect for sky bus to and from airport to spencer street train station, free trams, walking distance to food outlets shopping malls above train station, everything a few steps away, getting around on trams is very easy, being central means easy to go any site seeing direction. Sushi food bar / Asian food just across from front door, very good.
