How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We got greeted by a staff member that shortly after our arrival made clear that the $200 bond will be held in banks limbo for several days and that we would only get it back IF the cleaners were going to be satisfied with the state of the room after our departure.We were advised in a really direct way that we couldn't have unauthorised guests after 9pm and that noise and disturbance would result in eviction, who does that(??) in a so called luxury / four star hotel. Check out wasn't memorable either. Possible a great stay, just need to work on customer service, I understand that all sorts of people visit Northbridge but no need to assume that your next guest is a crook.
The location was great, heaps of restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance. Couple of bottles of water in the fridge and we managed to score free overnight carpark on the street . The room was nice and clean. However...

No usb charging point. Instead of a queen/king bed It's 2 single beds lined up together.
Location. Quiet, near cafes, near black cat bus stop. Walking distance to main train and bus station. Room Spacious and comfortable.

I had a problem with the parking space that was occupied by someone else and unfortunately it was only resolved the next day. On this day I had to leave my car on the street.
The hotel is well located with easy transport, close to shops and restaurants. The room is a good size and comfortable, good cleanliness and attentive staff

Little noise coming from air con in lounge but wasn’t unbearable .
The spaciousness having the lounge and seperate room and also laundry in bathroom !!

Staff more available and present at front reception. Ants in kitchen and bathroom. Would have been nice with room service every second day. Was disappointing that I had to ask for it after 5 nights.
I stayed in room 101 (or 110). The bed was great. I had ants in the kitchen and bathroom but no staff to communicate this directly to. When I tried to ring, I "spoke" with a non-human that didn't seem to pick up what I was saying.

Would have appreciated a cleaning service at least once in the 6 nights that I stayed. Tiny thing, but a shelf in the shower would have been handy.
Well-equipped apartment, that was very comfortable for a one week stay. Convenient location - in a quieter part of Northbridge, but just a short walk away from shops, cafes, and transport.

Cupboards dirty inside on arrival, kitchen not great for cooking. No service of apartment which would have been fine but after 6 nights you would have thought it would have been done. I would have happily hovered the apartment myself but nothing to Hoover with. After the 3rd night ants were a problem. We left the apartment most mornings early and didn’t get back until after 5 when there were no staff around. If anything I would suggest leaving cleaning items for guests if a service is not possible.
Perfect location for the trains and buses, a good size apartment bed comfy and clean.

The view, only a minor issue.

Clean, spacious, very convenient location to public transport. Despite being on a major road, room was quiet. Having a washer/dryer was good after travelling for 4 to 5 days.

A King sized bed would be a welcome improvement as we found the co-joined single beds to be quite small. Also, installation a sound and light proof partition above the bi-fold doors separating the living area and bedroom would improve the privacy and separation of the rooms.
Attika Hotel is very well located in a trendy area of Northbridge which offers lots of cool cafes, restaurants and bars and is in close proximity to Perth's China Town and Perth Central railway station. The hotel is located on a relatively busy Newcastle Street however our suite room was fortunately located well away from the street frontage and was quiet at night which was great! Otherwise, the room facilities were clean and modern. Hotel management and staff were very friendly and accommodating and went to great lengths to address a couple of initial housekeeping issues.

Fire alarm in the middle of the night that took a fair amount of time to be handled because no hotel representatives are on the premises outside of regular business hours.
We were very comfortable even though the suite was a bit small. Good kitchen facilities, comfortable bed, and the washing machine in the bathroom was a great plus if you're staying more than a few days. Super handy location to get downtown.
