Location was so beautiful, the views from the room / verandah breath taking. The room itself was very clean and comfy.

Absoluty nothing

You really feel at home at this place. The hosts are very nice people, who gave us a lot of usefull information about the area and places to visit. Though the room is right next to their house, they give you all the peace and privacy you need. Every morning after breakfast, we had a nice chat with them (if you don´t feel like talking in the morning, I´m sure they don´t mind), and after a few days we felt like we were talking with friends. It´s also nice sitting on the porch with a glass of wine, enjoying all the beautifull birds right in front of you.

The hosts, Petra and Jeffrey, were truly exceptional, the room provides all the necessities, and the property offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle of the town, yet close enough to reach any destination within ten minutes. The breakfast was also the perfect energy boost to kickstart the day.

Lovely B&B on the outskirts of Victor Harbor. Room overlooks a stunning garden full of birds. Nice Hosts who provided us with a great continental style breakfast on the patio. They equipped us with maps & tips for Victor Harbor. We saw some kangaroos on the way to their B&B.

Quiet location with the whole area to yourself, no other guests. Lovely country setting with an abundance of bird life. Breakfast under the all seasons veranda. Hospitality extended by the host.

Definitely a one off! Very comfortable B&B on the outskirts of Victor Harbor. Room overlooks a stunning garden full of birds and the occasional marsupial. Hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home. Excellent continental style breakfast, set us up for thé day.

I cannot find anything.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. All is perfectly clean. Very quite. You can watch and listen to birds. Very good breakfast. Comfy bed. Nothing to improve. I definately recommend this B&B.

This was our second stay at Austiny - it is a superb B and B in every respect. Petra and Jeff are very welcoming The room is excellent and impeccably clean The gardens and birdlife are enchanting The property has a great aspect and is close enough to town for dinner and shops Great breakfast Very comfortable bed Hopefully we'll be back for a third visit at some point Very highly recommended

A bath to relax I. would be good but had everything else

Nothing to dislike

More than what was expected with a very good selection, more than we could eat. The Hosts Petra and Jeffery are very good at what they do, very friendly and happy to go out of their way to make us comfortable.

There was nothing we did not like. We were returning at late hours after functions a distance away and found access and lighting helped us find our way to our room.

While eating our breakfast we were entertined by a procession of birds from tiny wrens and finches to lage ravens and black cockatoos which came to drink from and bathe in the bird baths situated around the native plant and succulent gatdens. The resident owners made us very welcome and we shared our bird knowldge with them and they with us. Victor Harbor the nearby town is located a few kilometres from the property and the views of the bay as we drove into the town were eye catching. Breakfasts were continental with meats and cheese together with warmed breads and croissants. Yum!!
