It is about a 45 min walk to the harbour for the Whitsundays tour which felt like a really long way with all my stuff and in the pouring rain, so the location is not as good as other hostels in the area. There’s no tap for filling up water - the kitchen taps are fine but the water was very warm. There was no bedding on my bed when I arrived and I had to wait for around 4 hours for when I arrived, which was disappointing because I desperately wanted a nap! All small issues though - overall great hostel and well priced.

Very clean. Amazing staff - manager Amena was incredible, she was really helpful and friendly. The rest of the staff were also great - even when off duty staff helped me when I looked lost etc. Lots of very friendly people in the hostel. Had storage for luggage for the days of my Whitsundays tour which was a nice surprise and very convenient - this only cost $6.

I liked the relaxing area near the pool with the hammocks. Was surprised to see there was no television in the room bug besides that the staff was lovely, and was good value for money

Kitchen is super dirty, nobody cleans after use. The sitting area outside is a dirty mess. People are smoking everywhere on the terras. No nice spots to chill if you are a non smoker.

The hostel is a little outdated. It’s also not right in the town centre, but only a 10 min walk out so I didn’t mind this at all.

I did not stay at the hostel apart from bathing and sleeping times. It is difficult to say what I did not like. I liked almost everything.

A lot of staff hanging around constantly and it felt quite clique-y in the common areas.

The rooms were very comfortable, with good aircon, and the showers were good too. We were able to use the facilities after we checked out which was great. Front desk staff were nice.

The kitchen could be a bit cleaner. But that needs to be done by the guest and not the staff. The terrace was a bit run down/old stuff.

It's quite a social hostel, so there's a lot of random people hanging around. I feel like there are a lot of long-term stayers.

The facility was quite comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen felt clean. The girls in my room were really polite.

There were more people who lived there full time and worked locally than tourists.

Very nice vibe, clean washrooms. Even though the property was fully booked, it was clean and fully equipped with amenities.

Bathrooms were a bit dirty. The sheets at first too, but could exchange them for other ones.

Kitchen was well equipped. Location was good if you're going to the Greyhound bus stop.

Not very clean We didn't see any employee at all (the key was hanging on the wall in an envelope upon arrival and had to leave our bedsheets on the pool table while leaving as no one was there) Quite noisy and messy. I guess if you want to party that's the right place to go

In general, the hostel could need some renovation. The kitchen was really dirty and not inviting at all. Glad that I only stayed one night.

I could check in any time and the room was quite clean. Did not see any of the staff as I was there outside the office hours, but check in was well prepared.
