We spent two nights at the hostel, the room was fine, the bathroom was quite good and modern. They provided all the towels, and sent us some info about melbourne. The price was really good for what you get. Recommended.

It's a little bit far from the CBD but it was totally ok. You can take a tram or a bus to get there sometimes it's better if you wanna stay chill near the beach

The staff was so kind, I booked a female dormitory by mistake but one of the staff helped me stay in a mixed dorm. There's an event each day when I was there a jug of beer or cider was only $4. And there's a very good kebab place near the hostel

An option to park would be perfect, not a lot of place in the area

I booked a private room for 3 and it was big, enough space to store our luggage. The room and bathroom was clean, the kitchen has lot of tools to cook. The sunday free pancake was an happy and very appreciated surprise.

Having to go to the communal kitchen to make a coffee or tea was a pain, no kettle in the room :( No towel rail or hook to hang up wet towels in the bathroom :( Not being able to use the balcony because of council nonsense, why let them build it in the first place? :( Communal kitchen always a mess, not the hotels fault I may add, backpackers not cleaning up there mess was the problem, I chose to not use anything other than the kettle.

Was pleasantly surprised. Booked a private room which was large with a modern bathroom. 20% off food and drinks at the bar was an added bonus.

Communal kitchen - lots of dirty kitchen plates cups pots and pans and sink was gross. Great meeting place but no-one was cleaning up as they used it.

Private rooms were comfortable and great value for money. You had the buzz from the street and pub but could close that out by shutting the window. Bathroom was modern and spacious for the room. Location was a laneway walk to St Kilda shops, beach, trams and airport bus stop was next door.

For the triple room, specifically, we wish there were more hooks and hangers in the room and bathroom. A bigger sitting area and a microwave would have made the room even better. The pillows are also in dire need of an update.

Triple room was VERY SPACIOUS, perfect for our luggage. Dedicated bathroom was also very new and spacious. Availability of a kitchen was helpful. Love how transportation options were aplenty. The free breakfast pancakes on Sundays were fantastic!

The kitchen was a bit of a disaster, no one cleaning their dishes or counters. Did see staff coming in to clean dishes however, but the mess of the counters/stove really put me off. Also was told to label bags of food kept in the kitchen. No one told me to label with departure date so I wrote the date that I put the bag there and one of my bags was thrown out (the other had a warning put on it which is fair), I think clear signs in the kitchen about how to label food would have been beneficial.

Rooms were great, lots of space, clean and ensuite bathrooms were a plus! Lots of fun activites and great discounts at the bar downstairs Most of the staff were very pleasant, always greeting and saying hello, making sure everything was going well The location was brilliant! Short walk to beach, cafes, restaurants, shops etc. Trams nearby too and Skybus stop just across the road

The beds were not big enough for me to stretch out in. (193cm) It's slightly social but not much, the rooftop area is not used much by people to socialise and there wasn't many alternative ways to socialising other than the bar downstairs.

Nice location in St Kilda with the beach not too far away and the St Kilda strip close by as well. They had a few social events which was nice.

Very good hostel, good price, helpful and smiling staff. The rooftop is amazing and there is a TV room. The bedrooms are quite large with a good size bathroom.

Location is excellent near some cute shopping areas, food, and access to transit into the city. The facilities themselves were regularly cleaned and well-maintained.
