The apartment was amazing and had everything we needed. Ian was a fantastic host and cooked us a hot breakfast. The rooms were beautiful furnished and were a pleasure to stay in. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Ian the owner made us feel welcome from the start with his friendly easy going manner. Well appointed apartment. Very relaxing atmosphere in beautiful gardens. Pet friendly. Love his 2 well mannered border collies. Great cooked breakfasts ready when you wanted. Good location if visiting Rutherglen. Easy walking distance to town. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful apartment on a delightful property. Everything was better than expected, the photos don’t do it justice. If you are looking for the best night’s sleep a short drive from the town centre or local wineries this is the place to stay.

Everything about Barklysuite apartments was fantastic. The rooms were spacious, well appointment, scrupulously clean, tasteful. Great breakfast - what a treat. And the gardens are magnificent. We will certainly stay there again. It is quite close to town in a lovely setting. The hosts were really friendly and informative - it was like visiting old friends. The kitchen is well appointed, and we had the offer of the use of the oven in the breakfast room if needed - which we didn't! Thank you.

Fabulous apartment with private lounge, huge bedroom and bathroom and kitchen. Garden was beautiful. Quiet location. Hosts were very friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. Obviously love their business.

Beautiful setting (garden and many trees)and wonderful set up with 2 separate apartments (ours was spacious with a kitchen, sitting area, large bedroom, large bathroom area and a washing machine)plus a breakfast room. All extremely clean and well appointed.

An exceptional property designed for visitors. One of the very best we have discovered. Brilliant hosts in a great area. We loved it as did our dogs. The property and gardens are excellent. The suites are exceptional.

We loved our stay at the Barkley Suite. Chris, Ian and their 3 dogs were very welcoming. The suite was impeccable and our two dogs felt relaxed and at home very quickly. We will certainly be back.

Spacious, comfortable and clean apartment, well located to explore Rutherglen wineries. Chris and Ian are wonderful hosts with a good knowledge of the region. Their 3 border collies are gorgeous and the property gardens are impressive. We forward to returning in future

Chris and Ian were wonderful hosts together with their three beautiful Border Collies. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable from the beginning. The breakfast was very tasty, and the apartment spacious, clean and modern (larger than we expected). The property itself was beautifully kept with multiple play areas for our two dogs who also loved their stay. Would highly recommend Barkly Suite Apartments to everyone travelling to Rutherglen.

Christine and Ian were amazing Hosts, we loved exploring their beautiful property garden and meeting their three gorgeous dogs. We also took our dog and they all got along so well. The cooked breakfast and clean spacious room made our stay so easy and relaxing. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful apartment with large sitting room, large bedroom and large bathroom. Beautiful gardens and gorgeous, friendly dogs. Perfect place to visit the wineries and surrounding areas. Most welcoming hosts and delicious breakfast included. Thank you Chris and Ian for a lovely stay.
