super dirty, the wash machine is 20years old without cleaning, wanted to use dryer and wash machine but those are full of mould. we had cockroaches visit :) didn’t take photo :(

It was extremely hot and the fans in the bedrooms do not work properly. They had only a low setting and barely moved the air.. It was uncomfortable to sleep. There were no basic condiments such as salt pepper tea or coffee. Steve

Booking in was a very stressful experience. Upon ringing the accomodation prior to checking in I was told I had no booking. I was informed that booking.com had cancelled my booking on the 11th, despite me receiving emails on the 16th about checking in…. Luckily the accommodation was available otherwise we would’ve had to go home.

Location was amazing. The apartment was spacious. Great facilities with the pools.

Driving 10 minutes further to the other side of Port Mac to pick up the key on arrival, then back to the resort. On-site reception to allow easier key pick up would be better. Curtains were thin and there were bright stairwell lights right outside the windows that were on all night.

Location - Flynn’s beach is beautiful! Beds were comfy. Friendly hosts.

Need better instructions for arrival process and location. Which carpark to use and where the unit is in the complex. Jamie was great when we called for help and directions.

Spacious unit with its own private courtyard. Access to the resort pool etc was great. Resort Complex well maintained and very clean.

My suggestion is to install air conditioners in bed rooms instead fans.

The only downside was that none of the bedrooms had aircon and because of the position of the rooms, on the opposite side of the apartment to where the living room air con is, the bedrooms get so hot at night - the fans aren’t very powerful so it doesn’t help much. Opening the windows work a little if the outside air is not too hot but the kids’ bedroom window is on level with the stairs/front door so you can’t really leave it open all night for safety reasons.

Great, comfortable apartment, amazing facilities - the heated pool a bonus plus beautiful gardens with aviary, pond and little playground. The location is exceptional - love Flynn’s beach and the local cafes.

We were sent a text before our arrival telling us we needed to collect keys from an address which was about 10mins from the property. Presumably this was the owner's private home? It was a little awkward and it wouldn't take too much effort for the owner to find a solution easier for guests i.e. key lock box. We also had issues with the cleanliness of the property, there is visible mould on the shower curtain. Again, it wouldn't take too much effort to replace this.

The proximity of the car park to the room was helpful as we were travelling with a baby and needed to cart a travel cot and pram and lots of luggage into the room.

where to start🙄booked this apartment for 3nights for my birthday it looked like a lovely place to relax. Firstly the checking-in situation is a joke We went to an address 12mins outside Port Mac to collect key as instructed, we knew we couldn’t check in til 2 pm but didn’t realise we could not even collect the key til then either. At the key pick up you are presented with a little box with a keypad which you are supposed to enter a code No code had been sent to us and resulted in us and the lady who lived at the house attempting to contact the owners which took over half an hour for them to respond. we were then told we had to go back again to collect the key later as she was still cleaning the Apmnt and still had the key. All too hard!! Photos of the resort and the apartment looked nice but photos are a complete mis-rep Check with owners which Apmnt you’re actually getting - if you can get hold of them, we tried to call them text to find out the WI-FI password and it took over an hour for them to reply. As this is a privately owned Apmnt within the resort I thought it may have had some personal touches even home comforts How wrong could I be?! the place is bland and soulless at best- the list of facilities looks impressive but believe me ‘ coffee/ tea maker’ Means Kettle 😅also there was no coffee or tea bags or milk like you would usually get. The outside furniture looks absolutely nothing like the photos it was a shabby wooden table and hard wooden upright chairs thrown in a very ordinary neglected yard ( no bbq ) The bathroom is dated and dingy with one celing light and a shower over a spa bath!! a lot of people would have difficulty clambering into this setup and it should have a warning about that!

The only recommendation would be to upgrade to a non stick fry pan. Bit old and didn’t really do the job very well.
