Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaNothing bothered us during our stay as a couple. If there had been another couple using the second bedroom, it might have been good to have a second toilet/bathroom. The laundry needs an update- but who spends much time there?!
The location and view were fantastic- right across the road from Main Beach and the ocean baths where I swam every day. The unit was tastefully furnished and comfortable. When the weather permitted, we sat on the balcony at dusk to watch the sunset sky.

Location was excellent. The property was opposite the beach and within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. The views from the apartment were stunning.

AustraliaLounge chairs uncomfortable and garage is too small to park car into (and then get out of car). Garage however is good for storage of bikes, golf clubs, kayaks etc. This aspect should be stated when advertising unit rental.

This apartment was perfectly located for a relaxing holiday. Everything you could possibly want was within a short walk & the unit was very comfortable.

AustraliaThis is the second year in a row that we have had to complain about the fans needing to be cleaned. The system of window locks (installed to meet government regulation) which has been chosen for all Beachpoint units is very unsatisfactory as windows can only be opened a few centimetres, resulting in the unit becoming very stuffy and hot. There are other systems which meet regulations in a way that is much more comfortable to the inhabitants. The main bedroom needs a bedside table and reading lamp on BOTH sides of the bed, even though the room is very small. We moved the table from the second bedroom into the main bedroom for the duration of our stay and we were still able to access the wardrobe. The main lounge is not very comfortable, as the cushions continually slide forward and have to be pushed back up every day.
The view is spectacular, access to the beach and rock pool could not be easier, the unit is bright, nicely decorated and mostly clean.
