We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaI requested two ground floor rooms together months prior as I was travelling with my elderly parents with mobility issues (89 and 83 years) and needed to check on them. On check-in I was advised that there was a change over of ownership and all previous agreements with Booking.com did not apply. This was news to me as I had received no notification and when I initially booked I rang to confirm all would be as requested which was confirmed. I was given the ground floor room with access on a slope for my parents and I was given the upper room at the opposite end so spent 3 days running up and down the building. The person that checked us in was not interested in our needs nor is providing any assistance as my mum struggled to get from the car up the slope and into the room. The new owners would certainly benefit with a lesson in customer service. I will never stay there again.
The accommodation was dog friendly and there was a large area at the back of the hotel for him to be walked.

AustraliaThere facilities/rooms look a bit dated but they're in absolutely fantastic condition.
The beds were really comfortable which is exactly what you want for a motel. The staff were excellent, especially Ian who I met on check in. The room was very clean. I will definitely be staying at Southtown again if I need a Motor Inn in Bega.
