Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaShower took some effort to get the right temperature. I couldn’t access the gym. There was no signage about the credit card surcharge and staff didn’t advise prior to payment (I would’ve paid cash otherwise). All really minor things.
Great location, plenty of parking, bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

AustraliaThe staff had booked us in on 2nd floor, we had made a clear note, on booking.com site in comments to say we disabled/mobility impaired, and needed a ground floor unit. They changed our booking on arrival so was ok. However NO DISABLED PARKS AVAILABLE AS STAFF HAD PARKED IN THE CLEARLY MARKED DISABLE PARKING SPOTS, and they didn’t have disable parking vouchers on their cars!! Not Happy!

The quietness of the building & room was great. I'm glad that I was able to open the window for fresh air. All necessary amenities were provided like microwave, kettle, etc. A very pleasant stay..

AustraliaThe property is clearly older and needs alot of maintenance, but by the looks is about to be redeveloped so doubt much will change. Bar area closed. The listing and photos is out of date and not current to how the hotel operates. No where near a 4 star hotel, more of a basic motel. The room was tidy but not clean.
Functional motel rooms with the essentials and bonus of a kitchen in the room. Good shower and plenty of hot water. Otherwise a simple room to stay and base for a visit to Canberra..

Two dead ceiling lights in the lounge room and over the dining room but it didn’t early bother me. A leaflet or something with a little bit of info about the accommodation, the facilities provided and the wifi paid would’ve been nice.
