How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Didn't stay long enough.
Apartment was clean and comfortable. Have stayed in chevron towers 4 times in 4 different Apartments over the years. This was the best in terms of quality,modern renovation and the hosts communication,generosity and helpfulness was something I've never experienced.

The carpark
The apartment view was excellent and the apartment was a perfect size with everything we needed. And the location spot on. Central to everything. Just loved it.

There's really nothing I can fault, it had absolutely everything we needed.
The apartment was beautiful and very clean with a homely feel. It had everything we needed for our stay, including a great kitchen, laundry and complimentary items. The location was perfect, the complex was very easy to access and it was very secure.

There was a couple of cleanliness/maintenance issues in the bathroom. The floor was a bit dirty and the toilet seat was loose. We were unable to replace the two single beds with a double bed and the mattresses used for the single beds were too springy and hard to sleep on because of the movement. There were too many small items and furnishings around the property which made the property feel a lot smaller/cluttered (we ended up removing a lot of pillows, throws and moving some items to make our stay more comfortable) I also didn’t like how the bathroom connected to the main bedroom via a second door
The amenities (pools mostly) were amazing. My host was lovely and always checked in to make sure everything was okay. The apartment provided us with separate beach towels and other appliances to make the stay more comfortable.

As per other guests the traffic can be rather noisy but that’s to be expected with the location so nothing at all against the property
This apartment was fabulous! Beautifully renovated. A fantastic location, with Cole’s downstairs making it super convenient. But also close to the beach and other attractions and restaurant’s. Chiara goes out of her way to make sure everything is ok for you and I loved the extra touches such as having baking paper cling wrap and oil etc. Thing’s that you often only need a small amount of but unless you bring all that with you end up having to buy whilst there. A really enjoyable stay had by us all. Wonderful sunsets too Thanks Chiara

The street noise at night could be heard but that’s to be expected considering where it is.
The apartment was in an excellent area close to everything. Exceptionally clean and very modern. I would stay again.

There was nothing not to like, the owner had covered everything and more.
The apartment is beautifully appointed in a fantastic location. It is modern, fresh and has been recently renovated to induce that beachy feel holiday. Great taste in furnishing. The owner was a delight to deal with despite not being local. Questions and texts were answered in a heartbeat. Instructions to access the apartment were clear and easy to follow. Been holidaying in this location for decades and this apartment is without doubt the best we've experienced for the money. We will definitely book again.

It can get a little noisy from all the traffic noise especially at night when you wanted to go to sleep even with the sliding doors closed but that is expected because of location. Also the parking was a little confusing at first but you get to learn it quickly.
The apartment was very clean and looked like it was recently renovated. Everything was at your fingertips like a supermarket down stairs and walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We definitely book this apartment again.

Cyclonic winds for the days we there.
Extremely flexible team. We had flight delays and were arriving later than expected. Chloe still met us and after the agreed time and showed us to the apartment. She was so friendly and welcoming to us. The apartment is right in the heart of everything and we could just walk everywhere. Amazing spot, we will try to stay here again on our next visit. Great job team.
