lovely furniture, toiletries and kitchen utensils. friendly host who gives us a lot of useful suggestions that where we can taste the good food and where we can travel. Sitting on a chair by a warm fireplace and looking up at the stars outside at night are my favorite things.

this was one of the best places i've ever stayed - affordable, picturesque, comfortable, friendliest hosts i've ever encountered and it was such a bonus the conditioner in the shower was curly friendly. i'll be back for sure

TV reception was not great although it improved after one of the hosts did some fiddling with the channel searches.

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. The apartment was really comfortable and the garden was lovely. We cooked each night and the kitchen had everything we needed (with the hosts offering to assist if we needed anything else).

Very unique, beautiful spot right on the river, the gypsy caravan was lovely, very spacious, everything you could need. Animals an added bonus.

The adjoining owners house was a charming farm house built in the 1800s. We liked the fruit trees, and animals like goats and chickens. A river flowing nearby too.

A beautiful property, and wonderful hosts. we especially liked the farm animals, gardens and orchard, and were invited to eat the apples from the trees. Exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Loved everything about this gorgeous gypsy van!!! The room was very comfy, and little balcony overlooking the creek was the perfect way to start the day with a coffee in your pj’s!! The bathroom is surprisingly decent size considering the accommodation is built into a truck, and Maureen and John were so lovely- amazing hosts, thank you for looking after us!!! We did also see the cottage, which is restored from original, absolutely beautiful if you’re considering either style of accom. Loved the farm animals, especially the two resident goats who love a pat… with a clear night, the stars were unreal as there is no light pollution, and we loved all the little details put in to making the van feel like a little bohemian paradise. Great proximity to the Bark Mill pub which had fantastic food, and very easy to access Bicheno (30min) and Coles Bay/Freycinet National park (45min)… also, so many wonderful cellar doors nearby- Devils Corner was our favourite in all of Tassie, only 15min away! Thank you so much for the wonderful memories!!!

Lovely quant historic cottage nestled in a peaceful location. Maureen, one of the hosts was so welcoming and informative. The fresh mulberry tree with ripe berries to share, offers of eggs and bacon all added to the charm.Why stay in a boring hotel/motel when you can enjoy a piece of Tasmania history. Would highly recommend.

Such an adorable little homestead! The Gypsy Rose van was just as pictured. It was warm, welcoming, very clean and well stocked with the usual amenities. It also has an inbuilt toilet so you don't need to go running through a farm in the middle of the night. There was goats, chickens and rabbits at the farm and apparently wild wombats and echidnas to look out for.
