We loved how very clean & tidy the unit was, everything we required was at our fingertips. Excellent continental breakfast was supplied for us which was a surprise. Very comfortable bed. Would highly recommend staying at Bennson Lodge.

My wife and I could not fault Benson lodge which exceeded our expectations.

The bathroom, bed and kitchenette facilities were very good and as an added bonus our car was stabled in secure under cover parking. A good selection of movies was available for our entertainment and an ample and very satisfying continental breakfast was also provided. We met Ray, the Manager, during our stay who was friendly and very helpful. Benson Lodge is good value for money and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again when the opportunity presents itself.

Proximity to city centre and gardens. Excellent eateries nearby. Off street parking. Strong wifi. Very clean and comfortable. Great amenities and excellent provision of continental breakfast. Able to let open air in through windows and door, all fly screened. Very private with drawn drapes and privacy drape. All up a very modern premises especially the bathroom.

Great quiet location. Beautiful little lodge. Complimentary continental breakfast in room. We stayed in the lodge which had secure parking with roller door. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Communication by owner was great in the lead up, whilst staying and after check out. Little garden seat area for sitting outside. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we travel to Benalla again

Nothing, just the cabinet in the bathroom to store your toiletries and stuff needed more storage space but I normally take a backpack with me when visiting different towns when staying the night.

The room was clean and tidy on arrival, it felt like home as I have stayed in rooms like this previously, albeit with a couch which wasn’t available here. Thanks to Ray who gave me a tour of the room when I arrived given the weather conditions were pretty hot outside, so I had both the air con and fan on at the same time at night too help keep cool.

We found Benson House a lovely place to stay. It has been thoughtfully renovated, providing us, as a couple, everything we needed for a couple of nights in Benalla. The bathroom was larger than most found in a one-bedroomed apartment, beautifully tiled and furnished, quite spectacular; the kitchenette was compact but very functional; the bed was very comfortable. The property is very close to town, yet in a very quiet, leafy street. Ray was very responsive, flexible and accommodating. We will definitely stay again when we return to Benalla, and would recommend it to anyone as a great stop on the way to or from Melbourne.
