Amenities were slightly dated but everything was very clean and presentable. The bed was super comfortable.

The selection of breakfast options was a lovely addition to our weekend. The freshly baked muffins that were made by the host were delightful.

Only thing I didn't like was the pillows were too high for me.

The breakfast was amazing, it had a good variety of items to pick from. It was also great that we cooked our own as we were able to have it when we wanted, at our leisure and cooked the way we wanted. The view was amazing, with the mountains and vineyard. Loved the block out curtains as I am a light sleeper and they worked great to block the early morning sun. It was also quiet and peaceful.

I found the bed not the most comfortable but that’s only my opinion.

Everything was excellent. From meeting us at reception to guiding us down to our accommodation and giving us a short run through on everything. Everything was thought of with a few extra surprises. The breakfast supplies were more than enough and the bottle of bubbles for my wife’s Birthday was extra special. The cost was very reasonable for what you get. We will definitely be back and stay again.

Berenbell is an idyllic location for any wandering soul. I like everything about Berendell. The staff, Ken, Susie and Ginger(Dog) did above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The food and lodging was subpar.

Nothing to not like!

This was the perfect spot for a weekend away in the Hunter. A quiet location but still not far from all the attractions. The cottage we stayed in was extremely comfortable and very well-appointed - we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Hosts Ken and Suzie were very helpful and friendly without being in the slightest bit obtrusive.

There was nothing to not love about Berenbell vineyard retreat , the service was amazing, we both felt very at home and relaxed . And wow what a view of the mountain ranges and the beautiful countryside around the property. We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary.

Clean and private but close enough to walk to a couple of vineyards (2-2.5km) and two breweries. The hosts are really lovely and the pot belly fire in the bungalows are the extra bit on top. Awesome views as well.

I wish I’d stayed longer!

Loved the family vibe, the lovely owners at the property. The little hidden touches in the room (I.e continental breakfast and a gorgeous bottle of wine from a local winery). Room was super clean with a stunning view of the brokenback mountains and the owners doggy (ginger) was a delight to come across! Really well manicured gardens and well looked after properties. I have already booked another weekend to take my parents to the same place.

It was our first time to the Hunter Valley and this place is just so close to all the good wineries and everything that you can do in the valley. Bernbell had the best hosts Ken and Suzie, best cottages with plent of space and was very neat and tidy. Their home baked Muffins as well as the breakfast they provided was amazing. They even organised some wine for us and also some chocolates as it was my partners birthday. Will surely recommend it to everyone!

The decor is probably ready to be upgraded but that did not really bother us as it was all about the beauty and serenity of the surroundings.

Beautiful peaceful location. Hosts are very generous with breakfast, cakes and a welcome bottle of wine. Fireplace was ready to be lit with lots of extra firewood on hand.

We had a fantastic stay at the Berenbell Vineyard Retreat! Suzie + Ken were very warm and friendly hosts. The grounds are spacious and very well maintained. Our cottage was comfortably furnished and very private. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the great view from our patio. We could even see wallabies and kangaroos. We would book again anytime. Highly recommend!
