Although the bed was large, the mattress was too firm for my liking. Three quarters of the room was lovely renovated, but unfortunately, I found the old tiles in the bathroom slippery. Little kitchenette looks lovely but nowhere to put washed plates/utensils to drain, which made the bench very wet. Apart from these minor things, I would definitely stay again.

Location Security Off street parking Peaceful Pleasant staff Across the road from the beach. Within walking distance of accommodation were several cafes, supermarket and specialty shops. Beautiful big park across the road is great for families to picnic and drink in the magnificent views. Three things I recommend you see 1) Blue Pool within five minutes by car. 2)Camel Rock 3)Horse Head Rock You can only access Horse Head Rock by climbing over sharp rocks behind Camel Rock. This can only be done at low tide, so go early in the morning. Parking is available, then a short walk on the beach to get there. This is a must if you're visiting Bermagui. From the Blue Pool viewing platform, I saw whales & seals frolicking in the water. Beautiful town to visit and so easy to get around.

I drive from Victoria to Brisbane a couple of times a year and this is my third time staying at this hotel. I always stay in room number nine which has a huge bed, nicely stocked fridge, huge gorgeous bathroom, and a massive TV. The room is always immaculate and quiet. It genuinely feels like a much more expensive hotel, so I have no complaints about the price. The newly renovated rooms were fantastic, plenty of room, comfy bed & pillows. They supplied a continental breakfast and the room had everything you needed for breakfast. The Hotel restaurant was great for dinner as well.

Everything about Bermagui Beach Hotel is great. From the spacious, modern, clean, well appointed bathroom, to the wonderfully comfortable King size bed complete with memory foam pillows. The extras include a coffee making machine and pods, fridge, microwave, tea pot, kettle, toaster plus continental breakfast of muesli and croissants with butter and jam provided.
