Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesNothing. Maybe for other people it’s too small with not enough counter space but it was perfect for me.
I loved everything about my stay here. It was super convenient to catch the tram or even just walking into CBD. The staff were so kind, they even helped me get a sim ejector for my phone to use my Australian SIM card, provided extra blankets and a space heater. The heat worked just fine but my body wasn’t adjusting fast enough to the change in weather and I needed to stay warm while the heat kick started again which never took too long. Patrick was so kind and generous to make sure I was warm enough by calling my room later in the evening to make sure the heater was warming up my room. I highly recommend this place and will book here again if I ever make it back to Melbourne! The nicest staff and great facility. I was a solo traveler so the space was perfect for me. Yes it’s a bit small but it exceeded my expectations and it honestly was what I needed. Quiet area as well, was able to get restful sleep as a light sleeper. 5/5!

The location was ideal, close to cafes, bars and restaurants as well as the Queen Victoria Markets.

The two staff members I interacted with were extremely polite and helpful. Very happy and nice to talk to. Our room was upgraded from a queen bed to a king bed which was a lovely suprise. It was location in a very convenient location next to Queen Victoria Markets and a tram stop nearby within the Free Tram Zone. It was within walking distance to a few resturants and a 10-15 min walk to the CBD. The amenties were exceptional, the bathroom (whilst slightly cramped) was clean and very nice. The beds were really comfortable and enjoyed a good night's rest.

(the staff even popped in when we were out one day and cleared out a couple of boxes with trash etc inside). made it so easy for me to conduct my entire trip, allowed baggage drop off and storage- before and after my stay- which made my life so much easier. vending machine downstairs in case you need some pick me up snacks and super cheerful staff who were always happy to help me to the best of their abilities!!! I would absolutely- and will absolutely- be booking again, such great value for money also, nice compact and neat accomodation a stone’s throw from everything. I didn’t catch a single Uber while in Melbourne thanks to this. thank you staff and owners!

New ZealandA second chair in the room would have been nice. We had a nice large room that would accommodate a second chair very easily. The bathroom was a large "wet room", so having a shower usually resulted in a fair amount of water being splashed around. An elevated place for clothing while showering would have been appreciated.
What breakfast? We didn't sign up for any! But there are plenty of nearby places for eating, and the famous Melbourne Free Tram stops a convenient 5 or so minutes away. Our room, set up for people with mobility issues was fine. All the staff that we met were very pleasant, and we were impressed with the way that someone was usually on hand to have the front door open for us to come and go as we approached it.
