Supplied with a larder which we put to good use for breakfast and other meals. Cottage with plenty of character. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed. A very quiet location other than the chorus of birds.

Fantastic remodelling of an historic cottage. Wonderful collection and display of historic memorabilia, tools and bric-a-brac on walls and shelves. With modern plumbing and convenience.

Nice quiet location. The room/ cottage was cosy and full of character and a quite comfortable. The use of th esurrounding grounds was nice to be able sit out and look over the vineyards.

Our stay was sooo perfect! The host goes above and beyond to help you feel comfortable, we had everything we needed and more. We loved learning about the history of Bethany also.

I missed a Face Washer and Hand Towel but no problems really.

TV size with very limited local channel’s choice which was minor for us however if you do like to watch a bit of sport or lots of latest movies you might be a little disappointed.

Great Location in heart of Barossa, central to so many tourist attractions and wineries. Quiet Location, Gorgeous Views looking out over the Barossa hills and vineyards. Outdoor seats to enjoy the views with your morning coffee. Good Breakfast supplies, choice of Cereal packs, Locally Made Fruit Toast & Bread, choice of Spreads, Orange Juice, Coffee & Tea, everything you need for a continental breakfast. Comfortable QS bed, great size Bathroom. Carol really is a lovely host- kept us up to date with emergency lights with possible power failure or internet disruption due to severe weather occurring on our last couple of days. Thankfully not needed.

Quaint cottage, perfect for a lovely weekend touring the Barossa. Carol and Erich couldn’t have accommodated us more - some little extra requests were easily accommodated.

The cottages are extremely comfortable with so many homely touches. We loved the historic building and surrounds and the numerous decorative elements depicting a time gone by.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. Carol explained everything clearly, access to the property is easy. Great place to stay. I will return if going to the Barossa in the future. It is such a lovely area of SA to visit.

The location is excellent, very quite and relaxing. The cottage is beautiful with very nice decor that takes you back in time. The bed is extremely comfortable and the supplies provided are more than I expected. Carol is an excellent host.

Breakfast foods .. perhaps check if guests like low fat or full cream milk and what sort of bread. We are not keen on white bread and that was the only bread available.

We loved the slow combustion heater. Fantastic. Loved the area and the bed was very comfy and good hot shower

Bethany Cottage #1 was a lovingly restored home with lots of quirky features. We loved the quiet countryside and dark nights. The breakfast was also very good.

Peaceful and rustic, but comfortable and lovely. Drizzled all weekend but just sitting in front of the open fire was relaxing. Even though the mattress was way softer than we would like, we slept wonderfully and it was super comfortable. The breakfast provisions were ample and all you need, although there is an electric frypan supplied if you wanted to bring your own bacon & eggs for a hot breakfast. There is no DVD player as stated in the facilities. Puppy loved exploring the property, even with it being wet underfoot, there was plenty of grass so it wasn’t muddy, but it would be even better with some nice sunshine. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
