The wildlife didn't cooperate and wander up to chalet, lol.

What a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle with all the modern comforts still at hand. The hot water, heater and air con was great for such a remote off grid stay. Love it. Very clean and all the basics are provided. The fire pit was fantastic which made our stay sublime. Will stay again and recommend to others.

    Nothing...

Everything was so peaceful and isolated, I can't fault anything, everything was perfect. So much soci stayed an extra 2 nights. Very well setup off grid cabin. Sunrise and sunset was fabulous. I will be back next year.. loved it.. Craig was very nice to chat with and told me how to find the swimming hole, which I had fun walking the tracks on the property.

The serenity and the feel of being in the high country were fabulous. The track to walk on around the property was amazing, right along the fresh running creek. I particularly liked being off grid and having creature comforts at no cost to the environment. I enjoyed everything about this property, so much I stayed an extra 2 nights.

Everything about the accommodation was exceptional. The location was perfect. It was off grid. The only sounds we heard were the chirping of the birds, but it wasn't too far away if we needed anything from the supermarket either. There were lots of wildlife around, as well as a beautiful river. The home was very well kept, and had a lot to offer. We were able to cook a full meal every night with everything they had in the kitchen. (Oven, stove top, toaster, utensils, pots, and pans) Everything was covered. I will definitely be staying here again in the future, I highly rate it! The property owner was also a great communicator, with lots of directions and information about the local area.

The bed was super soft for me and hurt my back. More a personal thing I guess. There was noise around the heater coming on and off. However this didn’t bother as much like other people have mentioned at all, and we actually turned the temperature down as it was super cosy in there. There is no TV and no mobile reception at all inside. 👍🏼 Minimal reception from Optus which doesn’t need to be a negative for a lot of people. However, if you need to be on call for an emergency you just need to go outside. I was only getting texts on Telstra, however they were upgrading the network the weekend that we got there so this may change. The main complaint that we couldn’t spend more time there as we were busy skiing. Note if you have mobility issue you can’t park near the cabin and will need assistance to walk there.

Immaculate attention to detail, okay value for the region and season. Host amazingly helpful and everything really well organised and instructions extremely clear. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and everything you need to cook as well as a good outdoor fire area with cooking plates. The outlook was absolutely beautiful bush setting, very peaceful and private even with the other tiny house close.

We liked everything about this property.

We felt very at home at the property. It was cosy and comfortable with everything that we needed. We also loved the location. Being surrounded by plenty of trees and even seeing some wildlife (Kangaroos, deer and cows) made us feel like we were really in nature. Spectacular views of the river, running water and milky way at night, coupled with the warm and cosy fireplace made for a fantastic time.

Craig was lovely and very helpful with tips about the property. Unfortunately we didnt make it down to the river to see the swing but he has bikes ready for you to make the journey. The location is very serene and the grazing free roaming cows were so relaxing to watch. Craig has thought of everything within the tiny house. It was very cosy and comfortable while staying minimalistic and stylish. Thank you for having us!

everything! you can switch off and truly relax. the property provides endless opportunities to explore and take in the scenery. also had cute little wallabies every morning outside. the tiny house it self has everything you need and is so clean. the location is also perfect - it’s so quiet at night and it’s a quick drive into Jindy for anything you need. Craig also was so lovely and gave us some great tips on where to explore on the property (the swing is a must!) will definitely be back
