The BBQ area near the cabins would have been excellent if a heater was available and needed a rubbish bin closer, but apart from this it was great

location was great, we booked all 4 deluxe cabins 4 adults in each one and all where happy, easy access to beaches either walk or 5 min drive to other beaches, close to wineries and shops

Wish there were a toilet block closer to the wooden tents. Wifi didn’t reach either & as I came for work that was a bit of a pitty bc I didn’t have phone service either

For $160 I admit I didn't expect so many (individually small) maintenance issues including (but not only) a broken jet in the spa, multiple lights that were out or flickering and a bathroom shelf held together with dirty blutack. I did speak to staff about most of them... It was implied that it's up to guests to tell them about maintenance issues, and no one had... Also the living/dining spaces might be a bit small if you had 6 adults... There's only 5 seats in the lounge which is a bit odd. There was only two of us though so a 3 and 2 seater couch meant we had one each to spread out on. The dining table was pushed up against a wall (for obvious space reasons) and would have to be pulled out into the kitchen if you had 6 seated around it, which could be a bit tight. Having a chain smoker next door so we couldn't open any windows was annoying.

It's a nice park. Shady. In a good location close to the clifftop carpark at Maslins. Confusing and amusing name if you're a former local like us. Would have loved to try the mini golf it looked like fun. Spa was relaxing and stayed very warm while you were in it. The kitchen was well equipped, even with an oven (gas... we stayed for my birthday so it was nice to be able to bake a cake) and convection microwave but apparently it's not supposed to be quite that well equipped because the cleaners thought one of the frypans were ours left behind...

Would have preferred not to have to use a code to leave the park every time - was an awkward turn. Can imagine if we were towing our van it would be hard to get it right.

It was busy but still quiet. We stayed there because the location was convenient for a family wedding, so I can’t say much more than that

Found Foxtel was hard to navigate. No wifi password given as we arrived after hours.

Very welcoming. We felt at home and felt safe. The ramp was ideal for my mother who is on a walker. Would highly recommend.

A second set of pillows would have been good as they were a little thin. Also maybe a lamp as it was a little dark to read at night. Other than that it was fabulous.

The OzShacks were exceptional value for money, would definitely do it again.
