A relaxing place to stay, the 2 bedroom cabin was extremely comfortable with everything you could need. Nice big deck and own BBQ.

Except for road access where new villa cabins are placed, the road access is deteriated with old Tar seal reduced to uneven gravel. As site is set on a sloping hillside, road access needs upgrading to provide even & safe travel for pedestrian & vehicles. The Pool is difficult for Seniors to get into, with the existing ladder type requiring agility & strength to manage, Needs a more graduating type of access. Also needs a sun cover over one end of pool & do away with bench type tables & replace with banana layback chairs. The pool area needs a toilet & shower within close proximity, very inconvenient having to walk back to own villa.

Our Villa was very spacious with modern Kitchen & Bathroom & comfortable lounge & dining chairs. Easy access from car space to main entry. The Pool was a good size with salt water, & great Kayaking on the lake.

TV reception was abominable - almost non existent. Could have slept 4 (we were only 2) but would have been unbearably small with 4 - even 2 children. Could not sit around dining table.

Economical and well located but very small. Kitchen was well setup.

The internal roads of the caravan park need resurfacing but couldn't fault the rest of the park, its very well maintained.

The "Lake House" is in the best position in the park with a huge alfresco deck, overlooking Wallaga Lake. Super neat, clean & tidy cabin & great value for money.

The lake was muddy, not great for swimming, recommend a small boat or similar for fishing and water sports. Our main room was comfortable but swishy, not much room to walk around the bed. The internet was terrible the whole time, which meant you could access the use of the TV or use your phones to cast to the TV. But encouraged us as a family to play games and explore the camp grounds.

It was a tidy park with great views from our villa, super tidy. We could hire canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards, which was great. Close to good beaches. Lots of activities for the kids.

Best thing was finding Camel Rock brewery onsite as we arrived late - forgot the wine and hadn't eaten. Live Music was fantastic. Mining village tour next door was a bonus. Lovely walks to Camel Rock and Horse Head rock and around Lake Wallaga were so easy to access from here.

Wifi doesn't work in our cabin, only works at the restaurant about 20 m away. Sliding door constantly jamming. Need two hands to open rubbish bin lid! Need to hold toilet seat up else it will go back down! TV is rather small.

Very quiet. Good restaurant and brewery (though menu is limited). Nice location by the lake. Proximity to Camel Rock.

Terrible smell. Towel rack falling off the wall. Lumpy, noisy bed.

Staff were helpful upon check-in, but I had to wait until a staff member came into the office as the other one was on the phone & gave me no acknowledgement whatsoever! Upon entering cabin 18, the first thing we noticed was the strange smell. My wife is adamant that it was an unclean, mouldy smell, perhaps from the very old and dirty looking couch. I actually thought that the smell was a chemical smell such as that of paint or varnish. I then decided it was part of the walls due to the material that's being used. Either way, it was very strong, and we had to keep the windows open and ceiling fans running all night and day. I was even wondering if it was due to the air-conditioner. The bed was quite "lumpy," and we could feel the springs moving and making a noise as we turned while laying in bed. The barbecue didn't work at all. I bought sausages to cook on the first night, but the barbecue just would not stay on. We could get the gas to light. However, once we let go of the knobs, they would spring back out and turn the gas off to the hotplate. We ended up cooking the sausages on the stove inside the cabin. A towel rack fell off the wall in the bathroom just in front of the shower. I looked at the screws and could see it was very poorly fitted. I reported it, and it was promptly repaired, but considering the money we paid, it should never have occurred & it could have hit my wife's foot or toes and caused her injury. However, it narrowly missed her. The cabins are most definitely unserviced while staying there with a note over the bin saying that we must empty the bin ourselves or receive a $30 fine. WOW. Ridiculous! We're naturally clean and tidy people anyway with my wife working in aged care and myself owning a domestic cleaning business, but still, just wow!
