I can’t think of anything.

Our host Ken was exceptional. We chatted over breakfast and he took us for a tour of town. We walked his beautiful husky dogs Yuko and Hime along the river. Ken gave us great advice for things to do during our stay that helped us to make the most of our time.

Ken and Marc are exceptional good hosts. Easy communication when booking and generous with local knowledge and opening their home to guest. We felt extremely welcomed. They even made some shortbread cake and we found 3 big Easter eggs on our bed. Too nice!

Birches is a welcoming stopover in Taree for our drive on the Pacific Highway. This is our third stay at Birches. Ken and Mark are outstanding and inclusive hosts who provide an excellent standard of accomodation from a secure, cosy, tastefully decorated ensuited room with extremely comfortable bed and lovely touches from bottled water and choccies to a hearty breakfast and homemade shortbread to pack us on our way in the morning.

Absolutely nothing.

Everything about our stay at Birches was wonderful. The house and gardens are beautiful, and the room was super comfortable and beautifully decorated. And the hosts, Ken and Mark, are a hoot. They were so friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious! This is definitely somewhere I would look forward to staying at again.

Such a pretty property and beautiful garden. Old world style with modern amenities. Breakfast was served in dining area and was delicious. Coffee impressive. Fresh homemade shortbread was a wonderfully welcome touch Hosts were charming and made the stay enjoyable

Birches B&B is exceptional. Everything was beautiful; our bed was so comfortable plus we had our own little adjoining lounge with tv and ensuite, so private. Ken and Mark are wonderful hosts and they provided not only amazing accommodation but also a delicious cooked breakfast with incredible coffee. They are friendly, helpful and generous hosts. We were so lucky that they had a vacancy and were able to experience their beautiful accommodation in Taree. Absolutely 5 stars from us.

Can't think of anything that could have been done better - everything was excellent. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious

The location is easy to find, and close to restaurants and shops. We were able to walk to a very good restaurant for dinner - felt safe doing so.

The hosts and the accommodation are exceptional. It is well-located and immaculately presented. The rooms are a very good size and very well appointed. The breakfast by Ken was great and they provided a very warm welcome. If you want a whole house all to yourself and to see no one else it may not be your scene but the house and veranda and rooms were all wonderful.

A beautiful country feel house which has been tastefully decorated and gorgeous garden. We stayed for 5 nights. The hosts Ken and Mark were so welcoming and hospitable. They even took us for a drive around Taree and cooked dinner for us. Breakfast was great, the house was immaculate and the bedroom is spacious. Lots of thoughtful touches like chocolates, bottles of water, freshly cooked shortbread. Highly recommend.

All I can say is Wow! My stay was So so lovely and better than I expected. All the luxury of a 5 star accommodation and all the comfort of being at home. Ken and Mark are amazing hosts, and so accomodating. Highly recommended. I won’t stay anywhere else when I come up to Taree!

Birches B&B is lovely, very comfortable rooms with a delicious breakfast provided. Mark and Ken are great hosts, very hospitable and we can only recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in Taree.
