OMG most gorgeous place I have ever stayed at. It is little but so vibrant, you walk in and you feel like you are home. Furniture was amazing, I wanted to stay. It was clean, had everything you could possible want and more. Continental breakfast everything. There is nothing I want to see in Hay, but I am going to take my husband back there just to stay again. The host was friendly and easy to work with. Love where they leave the key for you.

The breakfast was great - very generous amount. The location was good - we took our two little miniature dachshunds for a lovely walk along the river. The yard was fully enclosed so we could relax as the puppies explored. The host was very helpful and very generous.

It was easy to find and location great. Clean and well presented with a lovely area for my dog after a long day of travel. The breakfast selection was fantastic. Sue was lovely and responded quickly to me, and the coffee from her shop was great.

The many personal touches in addition to a generous continental breakfast. Far more comfortable than a motel, and away from the road noise. Easy to park and unload the car. Very close to the Hay pub, and a short walk to the South Hay pub. Both serve excellent meals. We will definitely stay here on our next trip out west.

Too predictable - everything was just like in the property ad photos! 😉

This was one of the most quietly luxurious places I've ever visited. The little touches of all the amenities elevated the Cottage to a higher level. Little things, like Twinings tea, four different types of milk in the refrigerator (including soy and Zymil), orange and mango juice, and several choices of cereal, were refreshing upgrades from the norm. There was a pleasant assortment of flowers on the table, along with flyers for several restaurant around town. The host also operates the Black Sheep Coffee Shop for some great coffee and heaps of treats. It's a great location, tucked back from the main road, with a private garden to sit and appreciate the evening cooling down. Nice and quiet without lots of other people such as in a motel setting. I absolutely loved it!
