Comfortable and well styled cottage with great kitchen, amenities, comfortable lounge and very effective heating. Venue is close to the town centre and access on arrival was seamless. Hosts provided excellent communication before and during stay.

2nd bedroom is too small for 2 single beds, garden is overlooked by other properties and the road.

Location was excellent - only a few minutes walk to the train station and shops. Nice quiet residential street. Superbly equipped cottage. A good base for exploring the Blue Mountains.

The quirkiness of the little house that still held its character but with modern facilities. Everything we needed, and more, was well thought through. Plenty of instructions to operate e.g. heating, tv, gaining access to the house Plus lots of information on the area. The fact it was so central to Blackheath and surrounding areas.

This cottage is very special. It is so comfortable, has everything you could possibly need and many extras besides. The location is so beautiful and peaceful and yet within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants etc. The garden is truly wonderful, so quiet and peaceful and great for bird watching; we saw many different and many coloured birds! The kitchen is great, with lots of crockery and utensils and a lovely coffee machine. The toiletries are divine and the bathroom great. We only stayed for 2 nights but could easily have stayed a week or even two! There is lots to see in the area but you will really need a car to get around as everything is quite spread out.

Nothing we didn’t like- it was fabulous!

Eclectic, cosy, private, good amount of space. Facilities were clean. Everything was easy to find. Lots of things for guests to do including games, Netflix and fetch, many varieties of books and lots of information about the area and close surrounds.

The cottage is of a time when bedrooms were small, particularly the second bedroom but OK for kids.

Lovely little old cottage completely revamped with modern equipment and decore. Very clean and tidy. Peaceful outlook into garden and lawn. Uphill stroll to cafes and pubs which is downhill stroll home (big plus). Quaint shops in the township and great view of Megalon Valley at Mount Blackheath. Dont forget to stop at the Logan Brae Orchard for an apple pie. We had a lovely refreshing stay.

Second bedroom was a little small, but as we were the only guests it was no bother. Might be a tight squeeze if you were staying with children. Shower was in the bath, so if you have mobility issues, would be difficult to use, as it was quite a high bath.

Great little renovated cottage nestled in Blackheath. Hosts were friendly and helpful, but not in your face (like somewhere else I tried to book but it was too much trouble!) Access was easy with door code.

The house was absolutely beautiful, we felt like being at home but with the bonus fireplace! Everything is well thought of and it is in the heart of the Blue Mountains. The hosts are lovely too and were always available in case we had any questions/needed something. We will be definitely back to this special place!
