There was an ongoing reverberating sound that travelled through the bedroom - sounded like the AC/heating was on causing it when it wasn't (we turned it off to try to stop the noise). It was quite audible and annoying at night when we were trying to sleep.

Breakfast especially good, loved the layout and the overall vibe of the hotel. Beautiful overall fit out. Staff were lovely in the restaurant.

Walls are paper thin, we could hear very noisy guests in the next room and everything they did. Pillows were so uncomfortable. Pool is great but you have to walk past the restaurant in your swim gear/robe, quite a walk to get to. Shower taps were either way too hot or too cold.

Beautiful location and facilities, free mini bar is great, lolly station in the lobby, heated pool and spa. Cool design and layout.

Although a little rough in places ie. bath room, couch was a little worn. Was a great stay however. Thank you.

The welcoming from the staff while checking in was informative, personal and professional. Exceptional Staff! The facilities was Top Notch 5 star,.. even though it’s not listed as such. I will stay at this hotel whenever I’m in Sydney!! Everything is in walking distance.

The atmosphere in the hotel was good. Friendly bar staff, easy to check in, check out. The room was great, the complimentary items were a nice touch and the location was good for visiting the city.

Some of the staff don't seem to like to engage with hotel guests, they come across more reserved than friendly.

Lifts are exceptionally slow

Interesting room even tho it had no windows at eye level (room 520), big, spacious and love the decor. Breakfast was included and was very good (options and quality). Love the free mini bar, a perk that brings us back especially with the kids.

There were two half opened beverages left in the fridge from the previous guest, as well as a dirty mug.

The interior design skilfully blends quirkiness with industrial cool. It pays respect to the heritage of the building whilst boasting modern facilities (Alexa, Bluetooth speaker, USB ports) and furniture. The blinds and curtains are automatically controlled by a switch. The far wall is made up of floor to ceiling windows that maximised the water view - absolutely beautiful! It being my first time staying in an Ovolo hotel, the all inclusive mini bar, goodie bag of snacks and tote bag were a delightful surprise. The bed is super comfy with no shortage of pillows. I asked for a late checkout and was kindly given an extra half hour. Conveniently located within walking distance to bars, cafes and restaurants. Or a short commute into the CBD. What a dreamy staycation. I wish I could have stayed longer and can’t wait to come back.

Our only complaint was that the spa pool wasn't working, but hopefully that will be fixed soon. Otherwise everything was perfect and we will stay there every time we are in Sydney!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ovolo Wooloomooloo. We were upgraded to a suite and it was very spacious and well appointed - it even had an Alexa and a very good speaker for music. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The building is amazing - a converted finger wharf with an interesting history, and huge inside. Loved the pool as well. The location is great with lots of good restaurants just downstairs (particular shout out to China Doll) and the Art Gallery and Botanic Gardens are just a short walk away.
