Awesome location, between the rainforest and the sea. Quiet and set back from the roads. The owners Steve and Sharon were friendly and showed us around the property. The bungalows were well spaced offering total privacy, well appointed and kitchen, also a bbq on the deck, bathroom was spacious. The snacks and breakfast food provided were great. An unexpected and great bonus was the rescued wildlife we were able to meet and learn about from Steve and Sharon. Highly recommend

The single issue, for me, was the hardness of the bed. This wasn't insignificant as it meant for a restless nights sleep resulting in tiredness the next day. If it wasn't for this single issue I would have given this location a perfect overall rating. Others might like very hard beds so this may not be an issue at all.

This is one of the nicest places anyone could ever want to stay. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable and are willing to assist with any enquiry. You really do need to take the time to visit this location to see how great it truly is, and you won't be disappointed.

Great location set under forest canopy, wild life walking around the room at sunset. Owners are the local wildlife rescue, and very friendly and welcoming. Fridge and bathroom were stocked with quality snacks and ammenities, not the standard hotel budget stuff. pool is refreshing and the area is kept clean. this place needs more recognition than it has right now. would 100% recommend and stay here again.

The bungalows are set in among tall trees with lots of greenery to look at from the windows. It was clean and quiet and there were lots of extras included that I didn't expect! The owners are also lovely to chat to and can provide lots of local knowledge of what to see and do in the area. I really enjoyed my stay!

Steve and Sharon are super friendly. They gave us lots of advise for our staying in Mission Beach. Good location. Very close to the beach and Woolies. Nice and quiet environment.

Fantastic location, very quiet and well appointed and laid out. Provided everything you needed for a short stay and Steven and Sharon were fantastic hosts that also do wildlife rescue. One of our best stays to date after travelling up entire east coast.

A beautiful little bungalow set within the tropical forest - great to hear the birds in the morning. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly- they gave us some great hints and tips for places to go and to eat. There are not many eateries within walking distance, however a short drive into North Mission is all it takes for a range of eateries and bars - live music on Friday nights. The bungalow itself is decorated beautifully and attention to detail is second to none - thanks guys for a wonderful experience!

A lot of little extras provided which were unexpected. The hosts are super friendly, but not intrusive. We felt we had the space to ourselves. It was great to see the rescue/rehab work they are doing with sea turtles.

We could walk to the shops, pizza restaurant, the beach and the bus stop. The owners were friendly. We had a lovely spacious cabin to ourselves and we cooked on the BBQ for dinner. They made up the room everyday which we weren’t expecting. The area was so quiet and relaxed.

There were a lot of rules around the property that made it feel like we were being watched. A lot of messages about non-adherence would invoke additional costs. The host advised they don’t spray for insects so a mosquito coil was lit. We were advised that we had ‘tainted’ the room and there would be additional costs charged as a result. This caused a level of anxiety across our stay that meant we were not relaxed or comfortable in the environment, which was very disappointing as it was our first stay without our children.

Loved the private bungalows, the pool and the nature. The rooms were very tidy and loved the little extras of the fruit bowl, cereals.

I think it was rough to say that you leave the property as you found it. In other words you had to clean,wash and put away crockery. It was okay for me as we always do it but families with children would have difficulty. Children constantly have needs.

The hosts were very welcoming. They had provided a welcome hamper which was sufficient for breakfast. We did not see them after checking in to our room.
