Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaNot properly cleaned from previous occupant. Half cup coffee in microwave, glasses in cupboard were dirty. Some cutlery was dirty. Areas not wiped over and cleaned. 2 dirty and stained blankets in cupboard were smelly and in a screwed up heap. Very limited parking at facility.

AustraliaSingle beds were requested and even though they were made up as singles they were still side by side. This meant a little furniture rearranging on our part. There are no screens on the door so we couldn't have fresh air over night which is my preference to air-conditioning. Staff weren't rude but neither were they engaging or even bothered to pop their head up for a "good-morning".

AustraliaVery limited parking under units other wise you had to park on street. Furnishings were old and needed replacing. Couch was old with splits with worn armrests, should have been replaced along time ago.Bed was uncomfortable with a seam in the middle joining to small bed’s together to make a king bed. Breakfast bar is still closed due to Covid. Didn’t like to leave a $200.00 security bond for the room, never heard of having to do this before. Over all the complex seemed dated, could have found better. Would not stay there again , balcony was nice and spacious

AustraliaRoom 312 was a bit dated and rough around the edges. We had an issue with cleanliness which I raised with reception. This was really the only issue with our stay, housekeeping need to lift their game.
Location is fantastic, short walk to shops, beach, dining.

AustraliaHotel overall is tired, needs a refurbishment, door in apartments aging. My apartment the access door handle came off as I was leaving room, ask for repair from Hotel,but that made it worse, advised hotel again and a temporary fix made. Doors locks need to be updated, again could do with a makeover and update.
Location is good, can walk to shops, restaurants, Secure location, plenty of transport options near by.

AustraliaThe property was very dated . My room had clearly been affected by water damage and it had a very unclean feel to it . Our balcony had loose railings and it didn’t feel safe going out there with my young granddaughter. The kitchen amenities seemed unclean and I needed to clean everything before I used it . The bathroom spa didn’t work and when I showered the bathroom floor flooded . It was just a fair experience all around .

AustraliaIn need of renovation. The stay was ok. Unfortunately the lift button to go down from our floor was pushed into the wall and therefore inaccessible. For the duration of our 4 day stay we had to go up the lift in order to go down. This was a safety issue also. We would have appreciated some sort of sign at the lift or communication about this issue.
