Breakfast was disappointing, could have included more local content and perhaps fresh fruit and more options for cooking. Beds was uncomfortable and overall a bit of a refresh would not go astray.

The water pressure was a little low and unfortunately we did hear the water pipes right behind our bed head.

The property was stunning. I couldn’t believe the pictures didn’t do it justice. I honestly felt like such a special important guest. The large spa bath was awesome, bed comfy and the little lounge was perfect for us to rest after a busy day.

A lovely big spa, but it wasn't very powerful. Breakfast Inclusions said bacon and eggs. No bacon supplied only eggs. When I queried it, I was advised it was only continental breakfast provided, (which was plentiful), and the eggs were a bonus.

A beautiful and spacious suite. A small kitchen but well equipped to cook a meal. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The wood fire was easy to light and there was plenty of wood. Very peaceful location, yet close to town. Beautiful gardens and each suite has a private courtyard with a small bbq.

Fireplace didn't work as well as we had hoped. We had been told before arriving that there were some issues with the fireplace but we were told they would fix them before we arrived. We found the fire died out pretty quickly (and we definitely set it up correctly!)

Huge apartment style accommodation with separate lounge/dining, outdoor area, kitchen, bedroom and enormous bathroom. We were warm and comfortable throughout our stay and appreciated the extra touches such as chocolates, breakfast supplies and moist face wipes in the bathroom - so handy!! Check in and out were easy, and we appreciated being so close to the Riesling Trail and the township of Clare, which is walking distance from the accommodation - very convenient if you're eager to have a few drinks over dinner.

Minor negative is noisy water pipes in bedroom wall when next door unit using water. Everything else is fantastic.

Great location on southern outskirts of Clare township. Quiet comfortable suite with everything you need for a great stay. Slow combustion heater if you want (we love it) or RAC to keep you warm, great bed and spa in bathroom. Riesling bike trail passes in front of property and bike hire is on site. Love staying here. Owners are friendly and helpful.

Perfect setting for a weekend getaway. Everything about this site is amazing, comfy beds, amazing spa/bathroom and an open fire place to top it off. Breakfast was supplied as these are self contained rooms, and we just topped up with some extra trimmings from the local markets. Already planning another Clare weekend away.

We were in the “cottage” near the main lodge. Not the best choice as it turns out - the common room reeked of old cat pee, and although there were good breakfast provisions the was no hot plate of pans etc to cook it up - the only option was to stand outside in the cold ( or rain) and try to fry up something on the barbecue hot plate. Not ideal. And no laundry option. The main building rooms were much better.
