Bridgecroft Cottage is one of the nicest little places I have stayed in. It was an absolute delight and I look forward to returning at some point with my family when I visit Richmond next. The property itself is beautiful with everything that you could possibly think of for a comfortable stay. The bread was delicious which was left for breakfast and a decent Pantry with basic ingredients. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The location was very peaceful and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. A really 5 star experience. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!

For an evening meal, if you wanted to walk, there is just one place “The Arms” which was fine.

A spacious two bedroom property. Very clean with some supplies. Walking distance to the town, bridge, prison, other attractions etc

Nothing in the house. You need to acknowledge that life begins early in the day.

Close to the centre of historic town; did not realise that church, post office and gaol were the oldest in Australia - not to forget the famous bridge built by convicts. All within walking distance. House was bright, comfortable and well resourced.

We use the outside decking, but this could be cleaned up a bit for a really good outside space.

Lovely place with all the bells and whistles. It is tastefully detailed, but not cluttered. A comfortable cottage to come back to and relax after a fantastic day in Richmond. We loved the Washing Machine and dryer in one unit. We set it on a wash and dry setting and when we got back, from a day on the town, the clothes were dry and ready to fold.😁. The beds were so comfortable. We Highly recommend a stay, if you are in Richmond, Tasmania.

Everything was so ideal, this cottage is in the middle of an old historical town and within walking distance to a supermarket, cafes and restuarants. They provided almost every facility you could think of, from washing and coffee machines to a spacious and nice kitchen to multiple outdoor areas.

There wasn't anything we disliked. Everything was perfect. Very well set out, comfortable and clean. Washing machine and dryer to use. Washing powder provided. We were very comfortable and would certainly return for another stay. Loved it.

Really great. Everything was provided for you. Milk, eggs , cereal , bread, tea, Juice, coffee machine.Selection of different jams and toppings for your toast. Loved there was a washing machine to be able to catch up with washing after over two weeks of travelling. It was a stay like being at home. The property was in a perfect position, walking distance from the main street of Richmond. Such a pretty town with the beautiful historic Richmond bridge. We will definitely come back to stay at this property. The hosts were lovely and very friendly people, made you feel so welcome.

parking in the carport was a little difficult to get into with our large rental car.

It was like home away from home, everything you might need was there. Mostly private and quiet except for one afternoon when the neighbours had music up very loud.

This property exceeded our expectations. Everything provided was to a very high standard. Beds and pillows very comfy. Property perfectly located in Richmond a very short stroll to the bridge and all the amenities. Fabulous place to eat is Wattlebank, food excellent. Richmond is full of character and charm also being close to Hobart and the airport. Host communicated well with us. Highly recommend a stay here

Unfortunately, we had no internet for our 2 night stay, which meant we also couldn't use the television. Host liaised with us to rectify with no success. Wasn't a major issue for us, but may have been for others.

Beautiful cottage, well located to the gorgeous Richmond. Absolutely everything we needed with some lovely extras such as bread, milk and condiments. Beautifully decorated and lots of information about the local area.

The property was excellent in every aspect.

The cottage was clean, modern with comfortable bedrooms, separate toilet, bathroom with bathroom supplies, kitchen very well equipped with appliances and basic supplies provided including fresh milk, sourdough bread, cereal, coffee machine and some condiments. Absolutely appreciated when travelling every couple of days. Heating was on for our arrival and most welcome on a chilly day. Washing machine/dryer and drying rack with supplies also provided.
