The fridge was catastrophic, I couldn't put my food in the fridge with not enough space for everyone. 5th floor is very hot.

I ring the front desk while in on the road bec im looking for the parking..they give me the address at the back bldg parking..and when i arrived there ..i could not enter so i ring again and told me to go in front? bec i need to check in check in first to get the card access to the parking ..what the waste of time ..me goin around in circle on streets..

Good Hostel with a great roof top

The shower was dreadful. It sprays outwards leaving no actual stream in the middle, making it almost impossible to be able to properly wash yourself. Also, my room didn’t have much storage space unfortunately. The hostel itself is about a 20 minute walk to the actual centre of Brisbane, which wasn’t a real problem to me but good to note.

It’s a very social hostel, good for solo travellers trying to meet people. The rooftop pool is nice and it’s good that there are daily activities hosted there like “ping pong Fridays” to bring more people together. The room was comfortable, clean and a decent size.

No place to leave baggage for free, have to pay for lockers, which wouldn't be so bad but check in is at 2pm with no early check-in. Doesn't have that family vibe that other places do.

By considering the price, it still has a great value. Rooftop bar is pretty cool. You should try while you’re there.

Not a social hostel at all. Everyone was just going about their own business. No lounge area to relax. The only communal seating areas are the rooftop and the kitchen.

The room was great, especially with the ensuite bathroom. Kitchen area is huge and always clean and tidy. Nice pool area and great location for easy access to the sights in Brisbane.

I didn't like the noise coming from the upstairs common area when people were dragging chairs around and playing ping pong at 11:45pm (but only happened the first night). Train noises throughout the night but you forgot about them after the first night.

The only Card entry to the common area. The sharing food spot in the pantry. the location of the accommodation in relation to the CBD. The range of activities on offer at YHA. We loved the different aesthetics of each floor and the simplistic beauty of the furnishing of our room. The shared kitchen was big enough for everyone to have a station and the fridges with the days they get cleaned out and the outside eating area. We loved that they had roof top bar although we weren't able to get there. The baggage storage and carpark were great when we needed to leave.

The location was a bit inconvenient if walking places but didn’t matter too much.

The rooms were spacious with huge lockers and aircon. Bathrooms were decent, wish there were more than 2 showers to each bathroom though. Common areas were nice and kept pretty clean but the rooftop pool and bar is what sold it for me. Amazing!! The downstairs cafe was lovely too!

I drove up but was unable to park at the premises as was fully booked when asked about parking nearby was told to park on streets surrounding but due to concert at Suncorp had to park miles away and Uber to accomodation. I should have been told this when booking as it said parking available.

The location was fantastic as we had a concert at Suncorp stadium just across the road.

It's like a maze inside. Rooms are quite hot when air conditioning is off. The hill in the hot sun sucks.

Rooftop bar and pool. The location would be perfect if you didn't have to walk up hill, but then there's no spectacular view!

Car parks are limited, only 6 onsite car park. The shower in the room is poorly designed, causing the water to spray outward and coat the walls instead of reaching the person showering. It was also very frustrating that the air conditioner turned off on its own while sleeping.

The price was reasonable and budget friendly. Staffs are super friendly.

Slightly far from CBD but still doable by walking. There was only one washroom for per floor thus in the morning struggled a bit to use it. And during my stay, there were some long term guests in my room but basically it is not a hostel’s fault.

Overall was a great experience. The price was budget friendly but all common facilities were pretty clean and worked well. Lockers were provided for each guest and bed was comfy enough. Could rent a towel and hairdryer hence makes your bag lighter. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hostel has its own cafe and bar so can use if you’re keen. It has a swimming pool on the rooftop so good option for sunbathing with some wine imo.
