The bathrooms were pretty good, but some hooks for hanging towels/clothes etc in the main basin area would make it a lot more functional. It was awkward juggling all of my stuff when I wanted to brush my teeth but also wait for other people in the showers.

Easy stay right near Central Station, so really easy to get to from the airport using the train. Staff were all great and I appreciated the extras in the cereal and toast breakfast (nice raisin bread, yoghurt and a variety of milks). The kitchen is well appointed and plenty of places to hang out and socialise.

location is good, just next to central. felt more like home and the staff is really nice and accomodating. Alex & Brandon were super nice, I made a mistake with my booking but they fixed it in no time and made sure I felt at home.

All communal areas felt very cramped - cooking a meal was really difficult, and hard to find a place to sit and eat. Cleanliness left a bit to be desired. There was some chewing gum stuck to the wall in my pod, which I told staff about as soon as I checked in, but it was still there 3 days later when I checked out.

I liked the privacy of the 'pod' beds, and it had a small locker, charging point and light inside each pod too. I liked the interior design of the whole hostel - everything seemed quite modern and fresh. The included breakfast was really nice, I especially loved the raisin bread. WiFi worked well. Short walk into centre of Brisbane.

The stoves in the kitchen didn’t work properly and the laundry was rather expensive.

Common area is closed at 10pm, meaning there is no where to cook or make a drink after this time. Pool table costs $2 and does not take card, so you have to use cash.

- not many toilets/showers, but didn’t happen too often where we were waiting - small kitchen area so if there’s 2/3 people already cooking you need to wait until it’s less congested - not super social

Though there’s a sign of no smoking but still some people smoked in the public dining area. Wish to have a quiet common space with stricter rules for nonsmoking.

The property description should state that there is no elevator in the multi-story property. Breakfast needed fresh milk to be served for the price paid and the opening and closing of the floor’s fire door on our floor made it a bit noisy during the night.

The room was light, clean and very modern. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

our toilet had a little dripping sound in the toilet bowl which was slightly annoying, as well as the temperature in the shower was a little frustrating as it was often too hot or not hot enough. but that’s a given, as you can’t expect perfection every stay!

as always, staff are so friendly and the location is so close to the train station and queen street mall & the shared amenities are always clean
