I wandered around room looking for a mini kitchen/sink, but found a lil fridge and not much cutlery in a cabinet under the tv. Loooved the buffet breakfast but there was lots of tiny flying bugs around the pastries etc.

Absolutely loved the room & spa bathroom. Stunning views, amazing buffet breakfast, beautiful decor. Lovely staff and room service.

Due to the fact that the booking was made through Booking.com parking was not included and was not included and was charged at $15 per night which negated a large part of the genius discount.

Having a view of the river was a bonus and the spaciousness of the room was great .

Service at the bar….. we waited 10 minutes for a barman to arrive and he was very abrupt and slightly rude. He the continued to keep disappearing leaving many customers annoyed and frustrated at the none service. Many people commented that he just didn’t want to be there We waited over an hour for food in the restaurant and had to go up and ask if we were ever getting anything or should we just go

TV did not work - it could not pick up reception. The shower had built up scum on tiles. Car parking on sitw was charged at $15 per day. For the rate I paid, I expected 'The View'. I got a view of trees in a side street on the 1st floor, I guess I expected more.

On the ground floor there was an awful smell, every time I went down to ask something at the reception or to get a delivery or to go to the swimming pool- I could smell it. Also pictures on the wall of 3rd level where I stayed were pretty scary. Otherwise than that everything was clean, comfortable, staff was friendly, I enjoyed my stay.

The "Sofa" was old and showing it, but it was so close to the ground, it was unfomfortable. Low couch is hard to get out of.

I wasn't expecting to pay a $200 refundable deposit. It was probably written in the small print somewhere but I hadn't budgeted for it. It took us a while to find the kettle which was tucked away at the back of the drawer.

The check in was smooth and the room was very comfortable. I loved the bathroom, shower and comfy robes.

The traffic noise woke me at 530am, which wasn't ideal. The breakfast was nice, but obtaining barista coffee was a mission. Too slow, and after 10 min waiting to place my order, I gave up. Would be much better if orders were taken at the table.

The hotel was lovely and the room had a gorgeous view.

Gym equipment was dirty, no coffee machine in room as advertised (the team were very quick to fix this, however the machine then didn't function properly) and we couldn't find a way to control the air-con. The couch had stains on the cushions and front and for the price I would've like a complimentary bottle of water on arrival but that was an extra $5 from the minibar.

We loved the pool (although the pool area wasn't tidy and didn't look used, furniture still under cover etc), great equipment in the gym, friendly staff and nice river view from our room. Location was good for where we needed to be and walking distance to some great food and drink options.
