The property was old & could be renovated the old house in front of.

In the older part needs up graded bedding bunks . Need more cleaning but ok for an older home .

Our room had a large window with no curtains leading into the kitchen so it was very bright in there if the lights outside were on. There was also a huge gap above every door which was essentially a hole in the wall leading into the communal space. Our door faced the kitchen meaning that if anyone was in the kitchen, it sounded like they were in the room with us. No noise muffling at all! So it can get noisy and light in the rooms, not great for a sound sleep.

Bunk was comfortable. Had a privacy curtain and sockets by the bed. Plenty of space around the top bunk for belongings which I don’t always find at hostels. Staff were quick at communicating via booking.com messages.

A lot of mess in the 12 bed mixed dorm, most people where long term so it wasn’t a very social vibe- I would recommend staying in the smaller rooms as they seem to be more for the short term stays. One of the kitchens was also always a mess

The bunks each had plugs light and curtains for privacy almost felt like your own room. Bathroom were nice when clean. We did manage to meet some nice people and explore bundaberg

Didn't see any staff in the reception. Nor did you see people cleaning. Only one bathroom had soap and toilet roll. None of the bathrooms had something to dry your hands on. The kitchen was dirty. The communal areas are quite run down, but could be really nice if they were cleaned.

Big spacious area for all your stuff, modern bathrooms, fast WiFi and free laundry, lounge area was big. Good location. The drawing wall was cool and unique.

There was only one toilet and shower for three bedrooms to share. The beds were really close together. When first getting to the building had to ask someone for help finding the room.

Friendly staff, kitchen was kept clean and the lounge area outside the rooms was cosy.

how no staff are there, and if there was staf they were rude people that had acted like they were house keepers never emptied the bins nothing was tidied or clean. but at lest my sheets were cleaned. we were all asleep and two of the house keepers came in at 1:30 in the morning in the kitchen opposite the room I was staying in not giving a care in the world to be quite. a homeless man came in to the property and a housekeeper wanted to argue with me about me ringing up the number that’s on booking.com saying I shouldn’t have to worry that all the doors are unlock to the property and homeless people are come snooping. and said how they come in fully knowing they can shower here. I just didn’t feel safe it was disgusting and rude people.

that room 3 lock worked on the door so that was the only time I felt safe

Could definetly use a good deep clean and I dont think i saw any staff while there, but its your average hostel to a good price for australia!

Close to a mall with stores and supermarket as well as to the town centre (with a lot of good op shops!). Nice common areas as well making it easy to socialize.

however bathroom and common areas were a little dirty and run down. with a quick spring clean and wipe down of shelves etc the place would become alot more presentable. Also the smashed and open front door on a late arrival was a little frightening.

The keyless entry system is so unique and a great use of technology! The beds and the room itself was well kept and very comfortable along with the kitchen.
