They have a really nice system of the beds. You have a total private space if you get a bed on the side. Lockers in the room with charging inside. Kitchen and Common area was nice. Also the hot pool.

Safes should really be fixed in all the rooms, it is an absolute hit and miss, mostly miss as they don't work. I know I know nobody is stealing but my pillow got stolen from my bed so I'd rather not trust with actual valuables.

Wifi is kind of up and down but good most of the time. Staff is fantastic, helpful, and fun people, the main reason I keep going back. The location is brilliant, everything is within walking distance. I recommend booking the 4-bed dorm if you can, any more than that gets too crowded.

Beds were quite uncomfortable (very hard and could feel the metal strings inside the mattress). Room gets quite noisy with traffic and outside noise.

- really hard to meet people; no events or activities, no decent common areas - guests only have access to one toilet after 10pm, which is is in the dorm itself. if someone is using it, you have to wait. as i have colitis disease i found this quite anxiety inducing :( there are toilets downstairs near the kitchen but this area is closed at 10pm - dorm rooms were very dark even with all lights switched on - no soap in dorm room bathroom, or one of the downstairs toilets the whole time i was there. ended up buying soap myself for our bathroom. we could have asked at reception but staff should be checking if soap dispensers are empty daily and refilling them (we were there for 3/4 days and these dispensers were empty the whole time)

- really liked how the dorm beds were set up; beds were comfortable, clean, each one had its own socket and light - kitchen was spacious with plenty of equipment (u will need to hire crockery from reception if u don’t have your own, but we brought some so this wasn’t an issue for us) - pool was nice and there is a jacuzzi for chillier days! -

rooms were so dark, not enough light to be able to see around the room. one of the beds was not made up with dirty bedlinen and rubbish over the floor in that area. once we complained, it was cleaned immediately.

Excellent location. Beds were comfortable & good shower. it was quiet at night, no problems sleeping. pool area was nice & kitchen facilities were good. you had to rent cutlery but you could keep them in your room so you knew they were clean (preferred this over shared cutlery & full deposit returned when checking out). good laundry facilities on site & you could rent towels for 10 AUD (5 returned at check out) receptionists allowed my friend to store her insulin behind reception in the fridge.

The bathroom was a bit old, but overall totally ok. Not much too complain.

One of the best hostels I have been to in AUS. The beds were arranged in a smart way, so you still had some privacy. My room had a bathroom attached (inside) and a locker. Also the lobby was very nice. Location was good too, in walking distance to the beach and also restaurants, supermarkets and general shopping was close by. Train stop about 2’ away as well.

I didn’t like that the towels for rent cost and that there was no an air dryer or paper towel in the shared bathrooms. it would be nice to have more hooks in the bedrooms too and locks for rent.

Amazing location. I stayed in the 4 bed mixed dorm and the bunk provided awesome privacy. Beds were comfortable and clean spaces. Excellent kitchen and common areas.
