The cabin is not completely sealed. We encountered quite a lot of big spiders. So don’t go there if you are afraid of them.

The Peacefulness, waking up to the birds, the beautiful swimming pool, which was sparkling clean, very relaxing atmosphere. The host Bruce was very kind and generous, sharing his home with my little dog Ella and myself and even Christmas dinner.

Bruce was a lovely host. The studio had everything we needed and the bed was very comfy! We loved the hot tub in the gardens, after a long day of being tourists! The studio is about 20min drive from Airlie Beach, which was fine for us. We would stay there again!

Very lovely unit and comfy bed. Top spot. Bruce the owner is very friendly and helpful. He did even fix our belt for the car aircon after we arrived late afternoon. Highly recommemd and pet friendly.

Calm and comfortable. Beautiful artwork on display throughout. Useable facilities with an arty feel- a treasure trove for the curious. Excellent foot feel and overall use of colour and texture. Would recommend Bruce and his piece of paradise to anyone.

We absolutely adored our time here. It was short but sweet. Whenever we are in Prosperine or Airlie, this will be our first pick for accommodation! It was well presented, clean, comfortable and super cosy! We couldn't fault the place!

We didn't like the fact we only had one night at this venue! There is nil to compain about!

Absolutely loved the Sancturary atmosphere and decor. Artwork was really well picked and well done (and I suspect one piece at least was painted by our interesting host, Bruce). We arrived feeling somewhat stressed and within minutes we relaxed, enjoyed the spa and a peaceful night in the bush surrounding Proserpine! Well done and we hope to return.

Nestled in the lush foliage of the hinterland, away from the crowds at Airlie Beach we loved Butterfly cottage, and the outdoor space, BBQ, fire pit and generous swim spa. This is a great place for people travelling with dogs and without! Bruce, the owner was most accommodating, finding space to park our boat, setting up the BBQ and welcoming our dog 😊

The cabin is in a beautiful setting and a very quiet location post was very good and helpful the Swim Spa has an excellent view while you're in there bed was comfortable plenty of room clean and a little bit quirky reminded us of Bali

Leaving! Could have stayed forever!

What's not to like! From the warm and welcoming greeting by Bruce (Owner) to the gorgeous and quirky studio nestled in pristine tropical gardens and surrounded by rainforest, this place was amazing. The studio is filled with eclectic pieces to admire and has everything you need whether it be for an overnight stay or extended holiday. Butterfly Studio is the ideal retreat for singles to unwind, and would make the perfect getaway for couples and a magical honeymoon destination within the Whitsundays. Airlie Beach is approximately 15 minutes up the road for easy access to the Islands and shops and Proserpine around 5 minutes. Great location..... Bruce is friendly and accommodating but not at all intrusive and you can spend your time in solitude or hit him up for a chat, choice is yours. Highly recommend staying here.

I had the most wonderful experience at the butterfly studio. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Bruce who was an exceptional host. The studio is a cute and quirky home away from home. The grounds are clean and well maintained. I loved my morning strolls around the property with my dog. There's a touch of magic everywhere you look from hand made sculptures to paintings. The setup was fantastic! I didn't want to leave my accommodation. Everything about this place was peaceful. I will definitely stay here again! Thank you Bruce.

The pool and spa are incredible. The bed and linens were fresh and very comfortable. Bruce's attention to detail is exceptional, he even had fresh frangipani flowers on the pillows. He made sure we felt very welcome and willingly helped with my car problem.
