The property was beautiful. It had everything we needed. Our stay was very relaxing. Denise was a wonderful friendly, but not intrusive host, nothing was a trouble for her.

The quietness of the location but cows, ducks and kangaroos about. Beautiful property. Swimming was a real treat after extremely hot days. The stars at night were brilliant and lots of little places to sit and read or talk.

Wonderful accomodation. Denise is a fabulous host , couldn’t be more helpful, keeping us updated to with regards to the fire situation in Victoria. Definitely recommend , beautiful surrounds and historic buildings .

There really is nothing I can think of in terms of what could be improved. It was outstanding. The owners were super nice and made suggestions for things to see and do in the area. We loved sitting on the patio among all the wonderful nature sounds enjoying a nice glass of wine. It was magical.

We loved staying here! We were here 3 nights but would have been happy to stay much longer. The accommodation was unique, cozy, really clean, beautiful, comfortable and it was fully equipped with everything we needed plus many extras.

The location was superb, in a working vineyard. We stayed in converted stables. The attention to detail in the accommodation was 5 star. Denise was a great host and could not do enough for us. Very sociable and friendly. It is self-catering, and very private. We took the ‘breakfast’ option of fresh produce. Fantastic. High end products throughout, very comfortable beds. We have already booked for a return visit. Thank you Denise for your exceptional hospitality.

Would have liked another comfy chair for reading/watching T V. The small sofa tended to become a one person affair. Also some microwaveable containers would have been handy. The bathroom light switch is in an awkward position on the opposite wall. Fortunately I travel with some night lights and these were essential for an elderly member of our party. Might consider installing one permanently in the bathroom.

Setting was ideal for our needs. Relaxing surroundings to recuperate from busy schedule. Appreciated the sharp knives in contrast to our previous accommodation where I was unable to slice a loaf of bread. Also enjoyed use of the fresh herbs and vegies from the garden and appreciated the worm farm for kitchen scraps.

The beautiful setting and amazing building were great. The tranquility allowed us to recharge. We also cycled through the bush tracks and into Bendigo. Our host Denise was very friendly and a great source of local info.

Byronsvale is a very special place with wonderful hosts. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the super comfortable bed with bedside lamps on both sides, to the offer of delicious breakfast baskets. Lovely soft towels and luxe toiletries makes Byronsvale a step above the rest. Such a peaceful location and the wines are superb.

Everything was perfect

This beautiful property lets you get back to nature without compromising on the comforts of modern life. Sitting outside overlooking grapevines, ducklings in the dam, lush lawn under mighty gums and the surrounding bush, you feel a million miles from anywhere. And yet all the amenities of Bendigo are a close drive if you do need anything. Because we'd booked the larger Sterry's apartment with full kitchen facilities (i.e. stove/oven as well as full size fridge, microwave, etc) we self-catered all our meals and enjoyed these alfresco on the lovely stonework terrace. If you were staying in one of the smaller apartments there is a smaller fridge and microwave but no stove/oven. This wouldn't be a problem if you wanted to eat out or enjoy a cheese platter, perhaps with a glass or two of their lovely wine!

Can't think of anything I didn't like - except that we couldn't stay longer.

Immediately felt at home and relaxed. Lots to do in the area but just as happy to veg out - and drink excellent wine! Everyone made you feel welcome, including Buddy and Soda the resident dogs.

Due to age of the property, one child sleeping downstairs noticed people moving upstairs at night- those sleeping upstairs did not notice this.

Loved the location, the building, the numerous items that contributed to a homely feeling. Beds were very comfortable, The pullout bed for the extra person, not as comfortable but enabled us to have three children in the two bedroom cottage. Bathroom spacious, hot water, quality Leif products in shower and to wash. Loved the birds, trees etc sitting outside for breakfast. Boys loved the two dogs- who only came out on invitation.
