How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beds comfy, facilities clean and really good in the room and bathrooms. The communication was exceptional. we arrived after check in and had to depart 445am the following day. Staff ensured I knew late check in details and organised a taxi to pick us up in the morning.

I was disappointed that the swimming pool was closed with 35 degrees. bbq in the cabin areas out of service.

Our little hut was lovely with a super comfy bed, little fridge and a great air conditioner, the facilities and grounds were always clean and the staff were super helpfull, kind, friendly and patient. The park itself is a short bus or taxi ride from the main city but was lovely and quiet. Definately somewhere I would stay again and recommend.

Wifi signal was not stable and could barely load anything. Amenities were not the cleanest. Pool water was kind of dirty. You need a car to get around as it is nowhere near the city center or shops/restaurants. Room had no hangers to hang towels or clothing

Upon arrival my bungalow absolutely reeked of second-hand smoke. The bungalows are technically non-smoking, but the smoking trays are directly outside the doors so the smell of the neighbours smoke was awful and pervasive throughout the entire stay. There is only one female toilet for approximately 10 bungalows and two showers with almost see through, frosted doors. The amenities are possibly only cleaned once per day and were very dirty (hair, hand towels, etc).
The beds were super comfy and the bungalows were new with great facilities. The price for a bungalow was amazing and very suitable for a solo traveller.

The room wasn't particularly clean. For example the inside of the fridge was quite dirty and the beds hand some hairs under the blankets. The girls' bathroom opens with a key but we were never told that. Almost every female guest seemed confused by this too. I recommend the staff to explain to future female guests about how to open the bathroom door.
There were complimentary towels, soaps, tea and coffee left in the room. The bed was comfortable and staff were always available. The reception has a small store to buy nessesary things and many brochures of different tours. The air con worked so well and had a quiet mode which I appreciated! The location is quite good but too far from areas if you are walking.

We stayed in the lodges so I expected that we would have at least some cutlery and a few plates, but we didn't so we had to buy when we got there which was inconvenient. The bed was so short, I'm 5'10 and my legs were hanging off the end I asked for another towel at reception and the receptionist was rude in giving me another one, I even offered to pay for it, she was just condescending for some reason There is a sports park across the road from the lodges and it has bright lights so you have to lower the blinds so the light doesn't come in, but there is only air conditioning and no fan, and my throat gets sore when sleeping in air con so it was very muggy and hot, I would of expected a fan as well for people who don't like air con but they didn't have that. A lot of the TV channels had audio but no video which was weird.
The location was good and was relatively cheap Facilities were clean and decent
