Wifi was a bit slow, but mobile signal was great so that made up for it.

Amazing people, super accommodating and friendly, highly recommend if it’s in your budget.

We loved this, exceptional and extremely beautiful and captivating place. Would have stayed in all day to continue the enjoyment had we not made plans to visit the botanical gardens. Breakfast was great as well as nutritious and tasty! Hosts were very helpful. Thank you.

Our hot water for the shower didn't work properly but the sink water was super hot. Maybe hot water system set up wrong? Didn't bother us really.

absolutely everything was beyond perfect and blew us away . The view over the rainforest , the pool , the fantastic breakfast supplies , the spa in the room , the twinkle lights at night and the comfortable bed . It dosent get better.

Nothing. Can not wait to come back!!! The rain at times was inconvenient, but it was such a wonderful time being able to swim in the rain!

I was fine with it but there were no curtains in the room, we didnt waste the day which great but my partner was creeped out staring off into the jungle without the curtain haha

There were quite a few bugs and creepy crawlies, which is of course to be expected in the rainforest, but worth mentioning if you’re not a fan!

Such an amazing find! What a fab location to be so close to the city and yet wake up in the rainforest treetops! Antje was so welcoming and included some really lovely touches of luxury which made it an extra special stay! The breakfast was delicious too! I would highly recommend this place!

Antje & Ben were so lovely and welcoming from the moment you arrived. The photos honestly do not do it justice, the rooms are a perfect size for a romantic getaway, the view is gorgeous and we were lucky to have perfect weather for our entire stay. The pool was wonderful and we loved the BBQ area. The whole place was just amazing. All I can say is once you arrive, you will never want to leave and when it is time to leave you will be sad to go. Thank you again Antje & Ben for your amazing hospitality and we will definitely be back again!

Surrounded by rainforest & tropical gardens Rainforest Retreat was tranquil and very relaxing. Enjoyed listening to the Birdcalls. Hosts Ben & Antje were very friendly & welcoming. The breakfast supplied and especially the yoghurt & berry fruit tubs were excellent & delicious. Great feel high at the back of Cairns in the peace and privacy of the rainforest. The pool and deck area is very relaxing. Day out, jump in the pool to cool off and stretch out in the outdoor area.

Probably just the lighting leading to the rooms & when leaving outdoor area - Its very dark and altho there is little fairy lights , its very minimal so might have difficult time trying to not miss a step

The view was absolutely beautiful Very peaceful & breakfast Muesli was absolutely delicious (breakfast at additional cost) Outdoor area was set up beautifully and the pool was a plus Very Clean Location is about 20-25 mins away from Airport - 10-15mins from the main city The Hosts were very kind and very accomodating - There is space for parking if required Expect to see/have little insects within the cabin 😂 esp when you leave the lights on

Everything. Surrounded by lush rainforest set up high in the trees in a little wooden cabin and a spa bath...heaven.. with aircon and a very comfortable bed. Loved having tall glass windows surrounding the bed, really allows you to enjoy the rainforest to the full extent. Lots of privacy and 10 mins to the city, it was perfect for us. Really loved the yummy tropical fruits and yoghurt that were left for us also. Lovely weekend stay!
