Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThe rooms are very outdated, and the sound insulation isn't great. Even though the prices are competitive, it's still expensive for what you get. I stay in country towns a lot, and feel that the prices in cities is way too high.
Super easy to make a booking and check in - even late at night. Great location too. Competitive in price compared to hotels in central Canberra.

AustraliaThere’s a problem with the long-stay (more than one month) accommodation form, it kept coming up with repeat requests and I couldn’t get to complete it for a friend. No such thing as an old fashioned paper application form when the online one isn’t working properly! Also the current policy of offering a reduced weekly rate only for long stays and then asking for a months payment in advance, which is well over a thousand dollars Australian disadvantages vulnerable Australian people who cannot borrow that much from Centrelink. Asking for two weeks in advance from guests would be much fairer and more equitable.
The Cafe looked good but seemed to have limited hours and wasn’t open on a Saturday. The pool table, pods and shared kitchen are great.

AustraliaWalls are a bit thin, and there are large gaps underneath room doors - so it could be a bit noisy depending on your neighbours and cars driving on the main road outside. The heating/cooling is centrally controlled. One night I stayed in a hot and stuffy room, and the other night was ideal. Luck of the draw I guess!
Check in and out was super simple and fast. They allow late check in no worries. Rooms are good enough for a couple of nights, assuming that you're out and about on Canberra. Bathrooms are clean. Kitchenettes are useful.

PortugalNo rubbish bin outside close by to put the rubish bag from the room. One room of the two bedroom apartment didn’t have door or something to keep it more private. Piano playing really early in the morning and really late at night that we could heard in the room. Maybe have a quiet time for the piano.
All really good, what I’ll write about I didn’t like is just an advice to improve for the nexts guests.

AustraliaI'm pretty average Aus male height, but needed to sleep diagonally to fit on a double bed. Not unexpected with budget accom, but would have been a problem if not travelling solo in a double room.
Conveniently close to Braddon and a light rail stop, super helpful staff. Common area attached to the kitchen was a really nice space.

It has a good location, just in front of the tram. Near city center area. Free parking was very convenient. The common area has games so you can enjoy that area. Room and shared toilets were ok.
