Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

New ZealandThe air-conditioning did have an off smell when using the heating setting. Otherwise, everything in the room was working well. Because of the proximity to the tram and railway tracks, it might get a bit noisy, but we didn't mind.
The staff was super nice and patient. The room was really comfortable and exactly what we needed for our 4 night stay!

AustraliaCouch/sofa needs steam cleaning. The kitchen drawer needs fixing. The bathroom sink is too small that you can bump your head with the above cupboard when using it.
It’s clean, washing and clothes dryer are very handy.

United KingdomThe only thing was the sound of the trains. We weren’t too bothered by them ,but would imagine some might find it a bit much. My son said it was like white noise/background noise. Trains stopped around midnight then started back up about 6-7ish in the morning.
Great city centre location and close to main train station and airport link bus. South bank was a very short walk away which was fab visiting in the evening time and a fab view of the city at night and seeing the big flames that line the river. Apartment was really nice with all the amenities we needed, even a washing machine and drier and a dishwasher. Full sized fridge too.

United KingdomWe were allocated room 1501 - The train noise all night was so bad. But the hotel let me change room and it was much better to cope with. So so greatful for that. Did consider changing hotels prior to the move.
Very well kept rooms - clean and well looked after. Had everything we needed for a city stay. Good location able to walk into the main area of Melbourne. Close to shops.

Great location, could hear a bit of noise from room 2205 but not enough to stop you from falling asleep or waking you up. No cleaning during the 5 day stay but staff were always happy to provide clean towels, extra toiletries etc so we were happy with that! Full size fridge and dishwasher saved our lives!

United KingdomOur apartment didn’t have a great view and was next to rubbish shute room so a little odour outside.
Really good location in CBD, near tram stop and southern cross station. Also a five minute walk to the casino and a large number of restaurants. It’s great the apartment offered washing machine and tumble dryer (laundry detergent supplies), small dish washer and cooking utensils. There was also a fridge freezer. A comfortable stay with friendly/helpful staff. Slightly later check out was given on request.
