Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

After reading some of the other reviews I had low expectations and I am happy to say that I thought the place was really great. It looks like the owners have addressed many of the issues that others people complained about in previous reviews. It has an amazing view and I found everything I needed during the stay. Coffee, tea, cooking oil, salt pepper, washing up stuff, good amount of toilet paper etc was all there, plus some other stuff in the kitchen glad wrap etc which I thought was a nice bonus. The central heating works really well, the beds were comfortable and the internet worked well. The toilet cistern didn't fill up at one point but it was fixed easily and never happened again. I will definitely stay here again.

AustraliaNo complaints about the accommodation. Only minor gripe was that, for the price being charged, I would have expected a proper coffee machine and some essentials on arrival, for example tea and milk. We also had to hunt around for the WiFi password. This should be in the welcome email.
A very cosy cabin with spectacular views of the Blue Mountains. Central heating was great (and needed as the temperature reached freezing).

Beautiful outlook onto cliffs. Fun feeding beautiful birds. Fire place and good central heating. Plentiful facilities eg. Bathroom and cleaning consumables.

AustraliaDuring our stay, we encountered occasional NBN internet dropouts that TPG were in the process of fixing. With 4G coverage working reliably at the cottage, we didn’t encounter any actual issues.
Unbeatable views, plenty of bird life and a lot of warm touches around the house. the host even provided cooking staples like flour, sugar, salt, pepper and ground coffee. Central heating worked very well and warmed up the house quickly upon our arrival and when waking up during those icy cold winter mornings.

We loved the location of the property, central to many walking tracks and lookouts. The view from the backyard was spectacular! Having the parrots eat from our hands was amazing. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and communication on access and expectations on arrival and departure were very clear.

AustraliaUnfortunately, that is where the good points end. This property is not clean and very poorly maintained - see list of issues we experienced below. * Poorly maintained and unprofessional presentation. * Electrical cable mount on house for main power from the street is a safety issue. The treated pine fascia has rotted and the mounting bolts are pulling through it. Needs professional attention asap. * Toilet doesn’t flush properly * Lights dont work * Exhaust fan doesn’t work. * Yard has rubbish in it - old lattice - the yard is a mess. * Pieces of paper with messages scribbled on them jammed in window frame for instructions to the guests. * House is not clean at all. * The advertising / promotion is not accurate. * No clothes dryer as advertised * “Newly renovated” - very questionable. We would definitely not stay here again.
The view from this property is beautiful and house was cozy warm.
