How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

No reception/staff_had it not been for another guest explaining how to gain access to the building, we would have been a bit lost. The key pad to the parking garage was not working, so had to enter via small side door, and activate garage door manually. Interior hall gives the impression we would be murdered before finding our room (all black walls), but the room itself was great.
The room was large and very clean & comfortable.

`A group of 6 friends stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment was huge, very clean and modern. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, including changing the bed configuration to accommodate 6 singles. Will definitely return.

Some people may find the corridor a bit confronting , especially if arriving late at night. Very dark, nothing but black paint and a few white murals on the walls combined with some strange sounds playing in the background. Not something that really bothered us but it’s unusual
Huge rooms, great location, comfortable beds, tastefully furnished, two bathrooms. Great setup for a young family with bedrooms upstairs. Close (but steep) walk into town. Great initiative for a hotel.

Entrance instructions could have been better. The entrance lobby was dark. The elevator wasn’t working. Parking shud have been included in the main fees.

Check in was difficult with codes not working and carpark almost impossible to get into space wise!

The terrace door can not be closed, feeling a bit insecure. People can climb up from outside and slide the door open easily.The bathroom basin looks good but not practical. The toilet roll quality could be better. Lastly, as others' reviews commented on the hallway, also not to our liking.
Very spacious modern apartment. I like the kitchen with lots of cooking utensils, a big preparation bench and a good size dining table.

The murals weren’t to our taste but that’s just a personal opinion. Getting in and out of the car park was a bit of a challenge but worth it for safe and secure parking. Everything was great really.
Good location, very spacious, set out over two floors. Very well kitted out. The electronic system for access worked perfectly. Decor is funky, lots of black and lots of murals, a strange soundscape in the corridors that confused us at first. We liked the charitable giving option and the support for local food and drink providers in the well stocked mini bar. You are just yards away from the main streets of Launceston with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. A great use of what otherwise might have been a derelict warehouse.

Placed in the downtown Launceston. Walking distance to plenty of restaurant. We contacted staff for some urgent inquiry on Saturday evening, but supringly got a call back in less than 5minutes which we really appreciated. Parking can be a little bit tricky if you not have a space booked with the apratment. But there are public parking right beside the apartment as well as street parking.

We had an issue with our reserved parking space in the carpark which was not the properties fault. Might be a good idea to emphasise to guests to only park in the space allocated to them.
The location was excellent. Room was very clean, cosy, quiet & comfortable. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, coffee shops.

We liked the concept and the interior was well laid out. It was nice to have an outside sitting area. It was an easy walk into town with a 10 mins walk to Woolworths just down the road. A good place to eat is Metz a 5 mins walk down the road. We also were able to use the parking garage which was very handy.
