Number of bathrooms same as number of generous bedrooms made it perfect for a group comprising 3 couples. Fully equipped kitchen and separate dining area made catering easy in the evening. Lounge area fabulous and open fireplace a luxury.

In comparison to our last visit the provisions were nearly 50% less than our previous stay. I can only imagine with the escalating cost of fruit and vegetables this has obviously impacted on how the kitchen is stocked.

The breakfast, fruit and pantry provisions were great and our wine tasting with Teagen was absolutely amazing. What a wonderful experience and Teagen really looked after us so well. I highly recommend doing the tasting.

The kitchen needs updating and the dishwasher had broken parts which made stacking difficult. I was told that it was being replaced. More cups and glasses would be appreciated. The Guesthouse needs a little more TLC and supervised by someone so minor issues like no hangers in the bedrooms, outside areas being swept with tables & chairs wiped down etc are monitored. There wasn’t any recycling bin? Despite the above we would certainly recommend this accommodation and would stay there again.

Perfectly situated in a working vineyard, the accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The staff at Chapel Hill were friendly and helpful from pre check in to sorting out some concerns during the week. The complimentary wine tasting and discounted wine purchases were much appreciated! Having 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was perfect for our group. The fireplace was great and set on arrival.

The kitchen needed some extra crockery, bowls especially and tea /coffee mugs. One bathroom needed lighting and fan attended to.

The house is a little quirky but comfortable and functional in a beautiful setting. It sits alongside Chapel Hill Winery offering excellent wines. There are also other wineries within walking distance or a short drive. The beds were comfortable.

The limit on kitchen space needs some cooperation between cooks and bottle washers. Operating instructions need to be somewhere more visible and central . We did eventually find the induction cooktop manual in the bottom drawer.

The location and facilities were perfect for our group of 3 couples catching up for a leisurely few days together. We really appreciated the breakfast provisions, gas BBQ, complimentary wine tasting and discount on purchases. Bedrooms (each with ensuite) were all great. Tariff was excellent for a group!

Enjoyed the light airy living area with raked timber ceilings, spacious bedrooms all with ensuite and well equiped kitchen with generous breakfast provisions. The location is spectacular with views over vineyards to the gulf, providing stunning sunsets. The guest house is nestled in trees with abundant bird life and kangaroos passing through. Separate from Chapel Hill Winery, but only a short walk to go there to enjoy the complementary wine tasting.

It was very cold downstairs and we couldn’t get fire started needed help which came Probably on such a cold day fire could have been lit before we got there. I could suggest a heated be installed downstairs until fire gets lit Needs sone rugs make it more homely

Booking website said breakfast provisions provided. We had booked for six. There was enough for one person. And in any event, there was next to no cookware to make breakfast. Not even a saucepan big enough to boil and egg. There were no mugs, just small cups. The TVs weren’t working, which was fixed. But it took a long time to get a response to our messages left about the problem. There were wasps in the house.

We arrived after holidaying elsewhere for five days. We had clothing to wash and found the laundry left a little to be desired. The washing machine leaked and made a terrible noise and the dryer also had seen better days. The dining table where we ate our breakfasts was only average and the room a little chilly. A few items like paper towels and plastic kitchen wrap would have made the kitchen more user friendly.

The view of vineyards from our accommodation was lovely. We were warm and comfortable - great couches and comfortable beds. The provisions in the fridge were very welcome for breakfasts and the occasional lunch. We appreciated the coffee machine as well. The complementary wine tasting, nibbles and freight considerations were great. Thank you!

Lack of air conditioning (not working during humid days) made the first floor bedroom hot & uncomfortable - this also affected ground floor bedrooms - the a/c was being fixed we were advised on arrival / Large area ceiling fans took several hours to cool / Spiders were expected in a winery but had several large black house spiders & not enough spray / Beds were very firm & comfortable but Doubles unfortunately where plenty of room possible for Queens or King size, which would make sense given it’s marketed towards weddings. In summary, a few minor changes / improvements would make it excellent value in an absolute excellent location & we would happily return.
