The couch was quite worn out and the tv was limited without any information. There was no kitchenette so it was awkward trying to fill the kettle at the bathroom sink

The hotel website does not have much detail about the place for that reason you can not have an idea of what the actual place looks like. The restaurant was quite average. In my opinion, it is overpriced.

The location of the Hotel is excellent. It is close to many wineries which makes transportation quite easy. The hotel and its facilities are good. You get an amazing view that brings a peaceful atmosphere.

We had not expected to stay at the Chateau but our car broke down and friends recommended the location and we were very pleasantly surprised..not golfers the pool was a bonus

We've stayed here multiple times in the past and have loved it which is why we keep coming back. This time we found the restaurant's menu to be really inconsistent and lacking that fine dining experience. Certain dishes were very heavy and lacked fairness. It also seemed the waiters were not on top of their game and a lot more casual to what we're used to at The Chateau as it took 20mins for them to come to us and take our order, as we noticed, that was the case with other tables too. We were one of the first tables booked in and the mains took 1.5hours to come out. Tables who came after us in fact got served before us.. The restaurant seemed understaffed and we didn't love the new menu. The mains off the grill also seemed unreasonably high in price with no substantial side included. The breakfast selection has also gone down a notch and the selection is not what it used to be. Regarding the hotel, it's easy to see wear and tear in the hallways, especially paint and scuff marks around the room corners. The shower gels and other extras also used to be of a higher standard and nicer smell, the new changed brand is not an improvement in my opinion. Overall, we love it here, which is why we keep coming back, however, I do feel there's room for improvement.

The bathroom wasn't good. The absence of a proper shower door left the floor wet and uncomfortable.

Staff were helpful, provided assistance and recommendations as to places, directions, etc.

Complimentary toiletries could have been catered for a couple rather a single person. The shower head of the shower in our bathroom was not the correct one - it was the nozzle you would use to wash down your dog when you give them a bath.

The staff were lovely and welcoming. We booked the studio villa which was nice and cozy. Room was spacious and so was the bathroom. Our stay was pleasant and comfortable for a short weekend getaway. However, I think these villas are due for an upgrade.

The buffet breakfast. The bacon was cold, the poached eggs were cold and the coffee from the pots was undrinkable. Overall the hot food in the buffet breakfast could have been warmer. In addition the toaster did not ‘toast’.

We arrived on a 40 degree day, the fact that our room was ready and the air conditioning was already on was amazing. The room itself was beautifully laid out and the additional touches were much appreciated. The staff were engaging and very courteous.

The property was stunning , the landscape and views of the country and golf course are Devine, It was very peaceful and the facilities were wonderful , staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds and room were very clean linen was soft towels were fluffy , the spa was relaxing ! The buffet breakfast was a beautiful finish to our stay Thankyou and we will be back .
