Chez Brolga was a beautiful place to stay. It was absolutely immaculate when we walked in the door, access to the keys was very easy, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed.

The home was exceptional and catered for all of our needs. The host has everything in the home that will help you feel at home. There were many area's to relax and the kids loved the pool.

The 5th bedroom was tiny, hardly room for 2 adults, with no window and no ventilation. It is best suited to 1 or 2 small children.

The house was spacious for our girls Book Club weekend away. The house was well appointed with plenty of space to park our cars. The pool was welcoming, together with all the outside lighting, it was delightful sitting outside to enjoy the ambiance of the lovely garden setting. Our hose was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions promptly.

We went in a group of 10 to attend a wedding up in Port Douglas and this property was perfect for our stay. Huge, spacious home with all the amenities you need. Clare was also an excellent host, and very accommodating. Will definitely stay again!

Our family group stayed at Chez Brolga for a weekend together while visiting Port Douglas. Clare made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and the house was a delight. Every little detail had been thought of - from comfortable, quality beds and linen, to the generous selection of tea, coffee and condiments - and even bath bombs for relaxing in the bath. The tropical garden and pool gave the whole family hours of enjoyment, and we also appreciated the two separate indoor living areas where everyone could have their own space. Highly recommend Chez Brolga for a group or family getaway.

Fantastic property really close to town. The pool and bedrooms were all great with a large kitchen/dining/sitting room. Host was super friendly and helped us with multiple questions. Would definitely stay here again when in Port Douglas.

This property was perfect for our group of 10, it was very spacious and had lots of nice touches. we loved relaxing outside in the beautiful garden. It was very close to the city and in a nice neighbourhood. The check in process was very smooth and Clare was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property!

The house was incredible for a big family. Clare thought of everything we could have needed and was probably the best accommodation host I've ever had. The pool and outdoor setting is a particular highlight - we spent so much time out there. Clare made our week stay easy and wonderful and I can't recommend this house enough.

Lovely clean, well-kept property in a good location, easy drive into town or back onto the main road to reach surrounding tourist attractions. We stayed as an extended family of 7, rooms were a comfortable size with storage in each. Lovely modern decor throughout. Well stocked kitchen, lots of crockery/pans/cutlery and also tea/coffee/sauces etc. Only criticism would be that there is only 1 twin room, the rest are double rooms. Didn't affect us though as the house sleeps 10. There is also no air-conditioning unit in the twin room but there is a ceiling fan. Tip would be to leave the door open during the day to let the fan circulate the cool air around the room. All other rooms have aircon. Lovely outdoor seating areas with speakers, we enjoyed watching the fruit bats flying around and feeding in the early evenings! I would highly recommend this property!

the location is a little out of town. it’s not dramatic though and there’s an IGA close by. A car a must.

it’s even better than the pictures. plenty of space, different living areas, incredibly clean. great beds. we decided to stay home and cook instead of going out because it was such a great oasis.

This house is amazing, its definitely a hidden gem and a home away from home it had everything we needed plus more. The only fault was we didn't have long enough there. Clare met us at the house and showed us around it was exactly what you see ok the pictures. Even though the weather wasnt the best lots of memories were made.

Clare is the consummate host and has presented an immaculate home with all the modern conveniences, perfectly set up for a large travelling group (we were a family of 8). Plenty of elbow room with multiple living areas, dazzlingly clean throughout, and Clare's personal touches made our stay even more comfortable. Although we didn't have time to try the pool, it and the surrounding manicured gardens would make for relaxing days just chilling. The house is located just outside Port Douglas proper, off the highway, but it is a very easy drive - if you did want to go to town. If you are looking for a large, luxurious house in the PD area, to stay, play or chillax your days away, Chez Brolga is simply hard to beat.

Excellent location…short drive to town. Great communication from Clare. Extremely clean house. Pool was beautiful surrounded by foliage. Easily suited our family of 9. Plenty of outdoor furniture. Would love to return!!

The house was spacious, very clean & comfortable. It provided a great getaway for 8 adults & one child. The owner met us there when we arrived to show us the facilities and answer any questions we had. It felt like a home away from home. We can't wait to stay again.
