You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The owners were very accommodating, no problems with meals - they worked in with us on times etc. Beds and pillows were compfy, bird life abundant, Rob was very informative on the district and history.

Robert owner, terrific bloke cooked us baco and eggs. Best bloody bacon and eggs I had since long time. Everything was quite country atmosphere. Just serene and beautiful. We will do it again. Recommend heavily if you wanna escape city rat race.

AustraliaAgain no fault of the hosts or the facilities itself, but the water in Chillagoe is very soft, and washing yourself is a chore, as the soap is very hard to get off whilst showering, the water is mineralized and makes washing hard. The lack of TV coverage, I know, "why are you away for a break if you can't stand being without TV for a few days??" There was nothing else I could fault.
After an initial muck up with our debit card to pay for our room, no fault of the hosts I might add, we got into our room and settled down for the afternoon. The whole stay including dinner both nights, was comfortable and enjoyable. The hosts were very accommodating to our needs, booking our caves tickets beforehand for us, and providing us with more sugar and tea as needed. The whole experience was pleasant, and very relaxing for the few days we were away.

AustraliaTV coverage, could only get 2 channels on first day/evening, got 3 channels on the second day/evening. Was dissapointed to find out that I could have phoned hotel directly and saved $35 on room cost. It was deceiving that it looked like you HAD to book through booking.com online as the only way to book.
Did not have breakfast there. Ate dinner at the hotel, meals were good.

AustraliaThe property was great for us but would not suit someone who likes a more up market type of room. if you want a basic very clean, cool room with a good shower this would suit you.
The room was basic but very clean, the air con worked, the beds were comfy and there was lots of hot water. The owner and other staff were very friendly and helpful. there was a great beer garden where we had a very nice hamburger.
