We arrived on a Saturday and were supposed to be able to pick up keys until 1pm. We were sent a lockbox code at12.45 but when we arrived at 12.55 no keys were in it. Eventually the ladies came out and gave me the keys. We arrived and thought property was great until we discovered it was filthy and there was no internet. We had taken our shoes off before entering and within second our feet were black. The floor was gritty with dirt and sand and there were little dirt piles in main bedroom. The second bed had had a sticky drink spilled and had got dust bunnies attached to it. This was slightly hidden under the bed. There was an infestation of fruit flies due to a kitchen compost being left unemptied and it was filled with maggots. My daughter had the fun job of emptying and cleaning it. Sulo bin had not been put out and is only picked up fortnightly. It was full. My husband squashed it and sprayed it (we had to buy the spray) and maggots and flies exited in droves. The second toilet had not been cleaned properly, so we had to clean it. The kitchen bin had no lid, thus adding to the bug problem, so we had to keep it outside until it was replaced on our second last day. On Thursday before our Friday departure, I was checking under the lounge and in the cushions to make sure our 18mth old Granddaughter had not "posted" some of her toys......oh my. The lounge had never been cleaned under and a myriad of other people's toys, food remains, chip pkts and a stack of dust was under and in the couch. This house was not cheap, you needed to provide all linen etc (hard when you travel a long distance with toddler) and there were so many warnings of fees you would be charged if you didn't adhere to the many rules. As it was Saturday, and the office did not reopen till Monday, we ended up having to try and rectify these issues as best we could as there was not much product to clean with. I hadn't expected to do a full house clean to start my holidays!

Great location, very safe area, close to shops and eateries. Very pretty and spacious house with comfy beds. They provide good selection of books, kids videos and board games. nice eating and outdoor area with good BBQ. Neighbours a little close and could sometimes be rowdy but no real issue. It had a highchair I wish we knew about as we lugged one up! All the basic pots and pans provided and good selection of utensils, crockery (including plastics for kids). We had quite a few issues (see below) and the Property Manager we spoke to on the Monday was helpful and understanding, offering to send in cleaners and get garbage picked up, but by that stage we had cleaned and sorted it. In hindsight, we should have got cleaners back as we didn't really have the tools at the property to clean the floor well enough.

Nothing really, rubbish bins were put out by a worker only suggestion they could do with a clean

Perfect for our family meet up. Great size, three rooms, two with queen beds, one single room, one with two beds and a trundle. You do have to supply your own linen and towels but for the price that’s ok. The kitchen is big has full size fridge an oven and microwave, cutlery and crockery all sorts of bowls, plus pots and oven wear. Large dining table inside and outside one as well also a bbq and reasonable backyard. Ramp out the back if you can’t handle steps. Lounge had large sofa and large tv. Front verandah has a lounge as well lovely for morning cuppa. House was dry clean. Extremely happy with Christina name of house.
